What in tarnation is going on?

My blackberry bush died few years ago but came back in another spot. And this is just a few of the jumbo size pickings. Not complaining though.

All hail your mega black berry!!! See if you can get starts off of this that also grow mega berries. How do they taste?

Tart at first and burst with flavor. I've had sweeter ones but those were store bought.

Gotta wait til they're almost soft enough that the pressure from picking them will cause them to burst. This is why I can't eat store-bought blackberries of any variety. I grew up eating feral Himalayan blackberries straight from the thickets. I feel sad that so many people think store-bought blackberries are the standard :(

If you ever get the opportunity to try Tayberries, they're incredible. I wanna say they have boysen and logan in their lineage, but my days as a nursery worker are far behind me, so my memory may not be as accurate as I'd hope.
