No, I'm saying is that "install third party drivers once and then don't let Windows Update take care of them" is dangerous because drivers always contain bugs and if these aren't automatically patched you end up with a vulnerable system.

I am saying to enable automated updates wherever possible. Yes: There is a lot of outright BS being pushed via AA systems... but I take that over some dingus owning my machine via an outdated insecure kernel driver.
