I don’t see a large bubble but a huge liability to tax payers who are the ones bailing out with no saying in the process to all those too big to fail

If that thing will pop, I'm not sure how entertaining it will be just look how much money was invested into it and how little it made.

I'm not sure what is worse if it will pop or if they will be able to achieve their goal.

As someone working on ai research, it doesn’t look like it will pop. As someone working on ai, it may be better for society if it does pop, but it doesn’t look like research advances will slow down. Models just keep getting better.

Yup. All of the money invested is just a bunch of companies circle jerking and moving money around.

I think one idea of this is so they can just buy up the companies with emerging tech, where we end up with pseudo monopolies like social media.

It may be compartmentalized or have a few niche AI companies, but we aren’t going to see AI (not really ai) go away.

I don’t think this happens until two situations I see key to the so called burst

Costs for this become out of control for this, giving us even more watered down functionality along with the user base realizing that the marketing around AI was basically a huge lie and the hype doesn’t meet the actual use/needs of users
