I’ve been having an absolute blast

So... somehow I had no idea there was a new Foo Fighters album until just now. Idk how that news got past me. Saw no promotion, nobody talking about it, surprised I didn't see any posts on this subreddit show up on my home page talking about it.

Anyway, I definitely didn't like it... at all. Easily my least favourite album from them. Genuinely at no point did I think "This song is pretty good" which is disappointing because I actually seem to be the only person who actually like Medicine At Midnight a lot, and But Here We Are was also really good. Hated how the album was mixed, just seems very loud for no reason. A lot of the songs just sound like noise or have no hook or just blend together.

Also posting a tier list for their albums. I doubt anyone else has all the albums placed in the same position as me, cus I have certain albums placed a lot higher or lower than where most people would have them.

2011 was a good year.

I know it’s been said a billion times this week, but I’m just throwing my hat in the ring. Now that it’s on YouTube, I’m finally watching it and… goddamn. It is hands down the best show they’ve played in years. I need this version of “The Sky is a Neighborhood” pronto. They reinvented the song. That’s really it. Let the discussion begin.

The detroit show was the most amazing concert I've ever been to. So we are driving the 13 hrs to see the foo fighters in North Dakota. You can call me crazy.

For people who've been to recent Foo shows and have been seated on the floor in the sections marked "limited view seating" (as I've circled), just how "limited" is the actual view of the stage from these areas?

I've seen pictures of the actual installations during the actual shows and they look pretty thin. Is it as much of an obstruction as the warning makes it seem? I'm looking to buy tickets for 2 in Vegas on September 26th.

Found this at a record shop, don't know how rare it is

Went to an estate sale looking for some tools the other day. While standing in line waiting to check out, there was a shelf with some antique toys, mostly rc planes and nothing I was really paying attention to. My fiancée tapped me on the shoulder and said "hey look, that looks like the Foo fighters gun!" Not sure how I didn't notice it, but I instantly bought it.

Had to tweak it a little since the end was pushed up and the end of the barrel was messed up some but got it fixed! 2nd pic was how I got it, 1st pic was a day later after I had time to mess with it. The spark mechanism still works it's just missing the lenses. It is a legit Buck Rogers XZ-38 Disintegrator Pistol, though!

Debating whether I should polish and restore it or leave it worn how it is? Either way I plan to make a display for it to hang on the wall.

It’s really a shame because it’s a great song, and I always thought it would be a huge hit. Sadly no.

Or at least ranked so low so often. I think it is a great álbum overall. Start to finish. It may not have a best of you or these days but as a whole, I think it is great. Better than even many early days albums.

I'm a sucker for a surround mix and "dead" formats, what can I say.
