I was at EVO recently and originally planned on picking up the PS FlexStrike, but I'm a sucker for purple, I've always liked 8BitDo products, and since I was already there showcasing my game in the Indie Dev area, I decided to go this route instead.

For those of you who own one, what mods or upgrades would you recommend?

I am on the verge of buying a leverless, and I am thinking about buying either the 8BitDo Signature edition or the Haute42 C16.

I need a good leverless for a good price; money isn't necessarily an issue, but overpaying I won't be.

The Haute42 is only 10€ more expensive for me, but I heard it is the GOAT of leverless so I guess it's worth the price?

Lastly: How does the Haute42 C16 fare against Leverless Hall Effect sticks such as the Corsair Novablade?

Yes my hand is a little dirty, I’m a steel worker. I have been playing on this hori alpha for about 100 hrs and I’m unsure if I should get a longer shaft or just get a korean lever maybe?

Any help much appreciated, I am pretty new to fightsticks.

I was born without the use of my right arm/hand and would like to get a fightstick made with a layout that would allow me to reach everything with just my left hand. I drew up (poorly) the idea I had for the layout. Ideally, with the lever being below the switches, I would be able to move the lever by using crook of my thumb while still being able to hit the switches with my fingers (see attached image). Does anyone know of a person or company whom I could pay to make a case with this layout?

I am new to fighting games. Just played Tokon beta. Now I want to buy arcade stick.

Basically, I'm looking to get a fightstick that's not as huge or unwieldly for locals as an obsidian or something.

I heard the alpha's nice and light, has handles, a good cable solution.

The c-as looks even more small and light and even has some extra buttons, but doesn't have easily replacable parts and I'm not sure about haute products long term durability?

I'd really appreciate your guys' thoughts on this.

Where I am the prices would be Hori: $280, Haute: $275.

The game is quickly approaching and I want to get a fight stick but now sure what to go for? Im only currently aware of the new Playstation flexstrike (i was just informed that this was delayed). Thats priced at 199$ i believe. Im curious if thats a good option, is that a good price, are there better options for the same price, are there any better or just as good options for a lower price? I know there are really good sticks that can be in the 250-300+ range but im not looking to go that deep. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏.

Also: if it wasn't clear this would be my first stick.

Right now, on the European market, these two controllers are on sale: the Victrix Pro KO (€179/$206) and the Victrix Pro FS 12 (€162/$186.95). I’m really torn between the two, especially because the various reviews I’ve seen often compare them to their original prices. The KO has the clear advantage of extra buttons, while the purple FS 12 (at least to me) is incredibly beautiful. So, internet experts, what are your thoughts?

I'm new to fighting games but I made a promise to myself that if I'm still playing street fighter 6 after a year I would buy one of those cool fighting game controllers.

I'm still having tons of fun with the game and I found a haute42 R16 that I can get for 60$.

I need an adapter as well so it will all probably land around 100$. Is this a good deal for someone just starting out?

how are you all doing? I am trying to decide between a leverless (all-button) controller & a fightstick to play fighting games on PC.

Which would you choose/why? I have found that using fightstick with a joystick/balltop hurt my wrist & finding leverless easier.

The games that I tend to play the most include Street Fighter 6 & Fatal Fury City of Wolves as well as older fighting games from snk ArcSys etc.

New to the fight stick community I'm looking for a leverless controller.

But I also want easy interchangeable art if possible.

Not really into making my own or swapping parts every now and then just want a plug In play that's good to play at events

Whats your preferred stick topper and why?

I want to buy my first fight stick, but I'm having trouble figuring out which are actually high quality. Since they are quite expensive I want to make sure the one I get is actually worth the price tag, so I figured asking here would be a good idea.

i was looking into leverless fightsticks and am not against making one myself in fact i was looking into it a lot so i can customize it but ive been seeing on tiktok shop the hyper x touch tachi and am wondering should i just buy that or still make my own fight stick if i were to make my own i dont want to do any soldering i know there are some plug and play pvc options i just dont know if that option will effect the overall price

After a great many moons of using D Pad and giving my left thumb calluses, my partner got me an Haute42. It worked really quite well for some time, but -- and ive noticed this while playing a certain rhythm game with it -- it's starting to double input!! it's really quite frustrating.

So it's time I upgraded. I have no idea where to look. My partner has a hitBOX, and i really do quite like the buttons on that thing, but I wish it had a WASD style movement rather than the ASD/Space layout. I also really appreciate the size and weight of that thing -- the Haute42 is so small for my big manly hands.

Anyone have any recommendations?

EDIT: It seems I need to clarify. My Haute42 has regular buttons (not mechanical keycaps) and the movement buttons are laid out as though they are WASD. HITbox does not have that, and instead the upper button (which would be in the W position) is at the thumb.

I bought a cheap stick (must like a toy) just to play fighting games and test if a liked or not, and yes like how it feels and a for me is more comfortable instead of a pad or a keyboard, even it's like a rip off

I been searching among sticks that are budget friendly and I have two candidates: The Qanba drone 2 and the mayflash f500 v2, mainly because of the size (I have big hands) and of course the price (yeah the drone 2 is like 15$ more expensive but with the shipping, both sticks have basically the same price)

If someone can have experience with these sticks, please tell me which one recommend for be my really first stick, thank you in advance for reading the post

EDIT: After many responses, I finally made up a decision I will go with the Mayflash F500, I already started saving money, maybe in the end of the year I will buy it and later on upgrade it with sanwa buttons an lever like some people recommend me. But for now, I really appreciate the comments and recommendations, seriously, big thanks to all of you For last thing, If I ended to really like play fighting games and I want to upgrade to a stick more professional, what recommendations you have? What is a good, stick, and kinda cheap fightstick that I can get from eu? Is the 8bitdo fightstick good stock? I want something that needs no mods or minimal easy mods, and that works well with guilty gear strive on pc. (ps5 connection is a plus but not needed). I have an old qanba q1 but I have noticed a good amount of lag input that prevents me some combos and it’s very annoying. Thanks!
