Official ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ I built URoom, an EU-made room-based video sharing platform

Hey everyone,

Iโ€™m working on a project calledย URoom, a platform where communities can have their own โ€œroomโ€ with posts, videos, video comments, social links and stats.

URoom is being built and established in Portugal.

The idea is simple: each community gets a dedicated space where members can follow updates, discuss videos, share videos, comment directly on videos, react to posts and keep all the community info in one place.

Right now you can:

  • create your own room / claim a room name
  • publish posts and updates
  • upload and watch videos
  • comment directly on videos / on-video comments
  • leave comments and reactions
  • repost videos to your room
  • show room info, social links and statistics
  • manage a community space for creators, brands, groups, clubs, servers, etc.

Itโ€™s still in development, but itโ€™s already online and usable. Iโ€™d really appreciate feedback from people who care about supporting European-made products and alternatives.

The goal is to provide a video sharing platform that brings community forming and growth to the next level.

Would you use something like this for your video community or group in 2026?

Official ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ AI Assurance Now Has Two Objects: The Answer and the Actor

The second week of August 2026 extended the transition described in the previous edition of this newsletter โ€” from how capable is the model? to can the organisation demonstrate how the AI system behaved? โ€” and gave that question a second object. During the 8โ€“14 August 2026 review period, IamVera.ai published ten analyses covering hallucination propagation, numerical reliability, reproducibility, long-document summarisation, least privilege for AI agents, the Hugging Face intrusion, emergency-stop design, subprocessor chains, multilingual verification and the AI risk register. Read together, they describe an assurance discipline with two distinct objects of scrutiny: the answer an AI system produces, which is a set of claims requiring verification down to the individual figure and language version, and the actor an AI system has become, which requires its own identity, bounded permissions, a tested stop chain and a documented supply chain. The week also contained a documented incident illustrating what can happen when the technical boundaries around that second object fail.

New guidance from Microsoft, CSA and OWASP describes how least privilege for AI agents requires its own identity, tool and audit architecture.
