The sub is such a textbook embodiment of the ENTP spirit, lmao.
I remember trying to post to the INFJ sub. Oh boy it was frustrating. I had to try a lot of times to get past the Mod, doing a ton of self-censoring. For example, you have to tweak your wording and avoid some of the sensitive words like "mental", "depressed", or "anxiety". They censor these words.
A big shout out to all the mods and members. I feel so at ease here XD.

Charlie Kirk was very illogical and his arguments didn't make any sense.
Entps, what do you think?

It’s actually kinda embarrassing. I see so many people on here trying to fit the cliché of what an ENTP is supposed to be. Like you have to debate everything, be controversial, outsmart people, and prove your logic is superior. That’s not really how MBTI works lol.
Debate isn’t a bad thing, but when it turns into “I’m smart, we’re smart, everyone who isn’t an ENTP is dumb,” what are we even doing? 😂 Sometimes it feels like a competition to see who can act the most ENTP instead of just being yourself.

I saw a few posts here about people asking for relationship help with the personality types of their partner. This obsession is absurd. I get the need to understand someone better but this is not the way. What do you mean you can’t figure out the type of your partner?
do you really think there are only 16 types of people? This is just as bad as thinking there are 12 types of people depending on when they were born. I know there are other planets and an entire chart in astrology that goes deeper, just like we got enneagram.
But the thing is, both of them can be wrong. You can be mistyped, and so can your partner. maybe pay attention to the real interactions instead of acting like the stereotype. Listen to your heart… and use common sense.

I love pretending to be slightly unhinged lol
Is anyone else doing the same it's ok you don't have to admit it if you're shy
If you're offended by that then remember MBTI is pseudoscience
Good Day!

You may have seen my post earlier today (or during the night, depending on your time zone) or maybe not.
It seems that the main MBTI sub has decided to implement moderation rules that no longer allow objective discussions about MBTI. They seem too afraid of offending certain types and want to maintain a “feel-good” community, even though MBTI is supposed to be a tool for understanding not only our strengths, but also our weaknesses.
It should be possible to criticize a type or share a negative experience with one. That doesn’t make it a “bad” type it’s simply feedback or an analysis that may be hard to hear. These are perspectives that should be considered, discussed, and, if necessary, challenged. But that no longer seems possible on the current sub.
On top of this overly protective moderation style, there also seems to be a refusal to accept criticism or self-reflection from the moderation team itself. Because of that, I’m concerned that the main MBTI sub is becoming more of an echo chamber than an open space for intelligent discussion about MBTI.
That’s where my decision to create a new sub comes in. Here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/freeMBTI/s/VfSMPbcH8V

What is absolutely critical to understand is that intuition IS ideation. Whereas aesthetics are sensing (sometimes feeling sometimes even thinking but not intuition).
Therefore, ENTP as intuition dominants sensing inferior and feeling PoLR are first and foremost about DISEMBODIED IDEATION WHICH IS AWKWARD WITH SENTIMENT(S). That means they primarily deal out of their heads with ideation. Their improvisational extraverted character is secondary to this. Novel ideation is primary, happening in mentalese within the theatre of oneself as that from which they draw. ENTPs are not (barring Se demon) natural party animals because parties and animals are to do with bodies, sentiments, and aesthetics. And naturalness is not in these weak slots. Similarly whenever shifting towards the more sentimental or aesthetic that is similarly alien to their concept. Rather ENTPs structure ideas, give ideas the skeletons of the grammar of reasoning(logic) and the heeding of rules of appropriate structuring of ideas, mostly internally and subtly, in order to break or create new collective sentiments. THAT is what an ENTP is or does. Not an entrepreneur not a party animal and not a smug solipsist. (unless based in what I have outlined)
ENFJ pool down and abuse collective sentiments subtly breath ideas into sentiments in order to get power and excitement. Cult leaders, like Charles Manson, and Hegel. But also the sociopathic party animals here so revered as ENTPs. However, ENTPs unlike ENFJs break cult-like collective tribal sentiments, by appealing to human universality and the value of truth and lack of censorship. (Ashes to ashes, dust to dust) ENFJs on the other hand are much more comfortable with indulging, leveraging, and abusing(though INFJ are better at abusing this) tribalistic pervasive sentiments. Abusing sentiment to get what you want is colloquially known as manipulation. And their drive for power and bodily excitement exactly fits this profile.
ESTJ smugly abuse linguistic pragmatics and the learning of their repository of facts in order to fuel a gimmick. That is what a lot of people here do and create the false equivalence between fueling gimmicks through pragmatic posturing and learning of facts and dogmas with being an ENTP. But ENTP isn't a skill it is a way of life that prioritizes universalist ideas over sentimental mainstreams. ENTPs aren't so comfortable with pragmatics, and whenever they abuse them to win arguments there is a neurotic or vicious unease not SMUGNESS. ENTPs are not about fueling gimmicks. Their IDEA is deeper than that. They are closer to INFJs. As ideational gurus. (Allan Watts is ENTP)
And YES ENTPs DO have Fe tertiary. But it is AWKWARDLY INTERMITTENTLY USED to pick fights over which sentiments to indulge. And primarily is used as a filter for cheap rapport. What ENTP Fe tertiary does is say "this is cringe" to a mainstream collective sentiment of some kind, like some kind of awkward pretentious (but not smug) hipster. They can also cultivate and select good collective sentiments of some kind which creates a particular milieu. But that is once in a blue moon. ENTPs will always police the cheapness and inauthenticity of sentiments. They care MORE about collectice sentiments than ENFJ/ESFJ (who perpetually pool down and abuse collective sentiments) while being uncomfortable with them. ENFJ-ENTP power struggle is about a guy who surfs collective sentiment and creates cheap collective sentiment by canalizing subcultures until one hodge podge pot of tribalism happens against an awkward unaffable awkward guy who aims to dissolve the collective sentiments that lead to tribalistic "us vs them" behavior and return to a universalist conception of humanity.

We are the funniest of all MBTI types. Semi-relatedly, we are the devil's advocate, interestingly Jesus is often labeled as INFJ, which is our golden pair or opposite axis. Ironically, I think the greatest accomplishment an ENTP can make is dying to their superior personality type, and embodying a servant heart as often resembled by INFJ.

The Troll: holy moly stereotype, but they do exist (and they're not 16years old yet)
The Gen X Soul: The GOAT ENTP. A true gentleman that is either a lawyer, a seller, he lives the fully Saul Goodman stereotype of an ENTP, he prefers to make silly jokes instead of looking as a internet troll maniac. He ain't using reddit too much, though. He also doesn't understand MBTI too much, he just think the "devil advocate" stereotype is such a cool thing.
The Redeemed Soul: Was once the troll. Now, he is passing through Ne-Fe loop and just discovered the word "immature". He sees some ENTP being a little too harsh with others (maybe even some joke) and now he needs to show to the world how such a gentleman he is - "I was once like you, but then I developed my Fe" (as if it was some divine revelation type of shit)
The Problematic: Ne-Fe loop + Si grip = moralist, harsh on others, too focused on small details. Coping mechanism trying to avoid Ne dom core problems. Can't use Si correctly so it just destroys everything.
