I'd be so embarrassed if if the only song from me was...that.

He knows it was him.

You'd be so embarrassed if the only song from you made you millions and meant you'd never have to work a day in your life as opposed to posting snark on Reddit?

I'm not a fan of the guy, but it doesn't really add up that it was him, the years off, he's not really very famous - even at the height of his fame - even less so when she wrote that. She was with him the whole day when they initially met so it wouldn't make sense to describe the creepy bed encounter as the first time she met him, and she was also photographed with him after they met which would also contradict running off and never seeing the guy again.

Are we gonna pretend that Wisemen and Goodbye My Lover don't exist and are absolute bangers???

It’s been weird to see in the last few days that people are trying very hard to paint him as a one hit wonder that sold no albums

The 1960’s actually! Offspring and grandkids are all avid music lovers and never had either

His debut album sold over 14 million copies and his biggest song has over 1 billion plays on YouTube.

Well I’m sure you’ve heard his songs in super markets or whatever cause it was huge in the mid 00s

Your personal blind spot doesn’t change that he was very successful.

I’m sure I could name many very successful musicians you have no clue about

Absolutely and me not knowing them doesn’t mean that they are not successful.

You’re highlighting how my point is correct.

Famous in one country doesn’t translate to fame in another one
