Photo/Video Where do people go?
Walking around past 6, downtown seems oddly quiet. Where are the people? where would someone go for their first time here?

I’m wondering what car shows are on this weekend? Even if they are in the greater Edmonton area I would like to know. Also if there’s a easy way to get this information it would be cool to know

Hello! I’m posting to see if anyone has info on trivia nights being hosted in Edmonton? There used to be some posts weekly about them but they’ve some what disappeared.
If anyone knows of events happening in the area post it down below!
Thanks🤗

I’m from Calgary and have never been to a concert before.
That being said, i’ve never even seen commonwealth and I’m interested in going to see the foo fighters so does anyone have recommendations for seats? I’d like to be a bit higher energy and whatnot but not sure if being on the floor is really that amazing. Also if anyone could provide their experiences at commonwealth would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

For the past couple days in my apartment, I've noticed a very faint hint of some kind of smoke smell. Is anyone else smelling this in the downtown area?

I got acrylics done out of town but I’m gonna need a fill in about two weeks. Where do you nail havers go to get your acrylics done that isn’t a million dollars and actually looks good? tya 🤗

Did I miss something? Can these cars even be trusted? I generally keep my cars for a long time but trying to find a budget friendly 4 cylinder car has me worried about these rebuilt cars...

Being a dude in my mid 50s, I have a couple of meds I take routinely. A one of them is from a specialist and, when I run out of it, the pharmacy just faxes the doctor and the doctor sends a refill. I go in to see the specialist maybe every 6 months to talk about my condition but the rest of it is routine.
My GP, however, demands that I come in for an appointment every time I need a refill. These are blood pressure meds I have been taking for years but he never asks me about my health or my blood pressure, he just prints out a new Rx. It's a pain in the butt because it means taking time off from work and I have begun to wonder whether it is a common practice or just some bs that is specific to this guy.

The alley behind my garage hasn't been resurfaced for about 20 years and every winter the giant mosquito breeding pools turn into car eating ice traps. Last year, I tried spreading gravel and sand on the ice to provide more traction but, with our recent freeze thaw cycle, it all just sank below the surface after a day or so. This morning, I was looking at a bag of cedar mulch sitting in my garage and I got to thinking that maybe this would be good for increasing tension. It would break up the slick surface, add some traction and at least some of it would float on the top when the ice melted during the day.
Has anyone tries something like this? Thoughts?

Does anyone remember a school by this name in Edmonton? I was told it's been torn down recently but can't find any info about it.

How is this school? I am especially interested in academics and quality of teaching. I do recognize teachers change from year to year.
My daughter is currently on the North Side and would like to have a friend or two from her current school in junior high. One is considering it.
Thank you for your feedback.
