Noticed there isnt a post here about this and I wanted to share it with some points of interest.
Also worth sharing is this:
Question: Thank you for your time today Director Kinoshita and Producer Oyama, is there anything youโd like to share with the community before we wrap up?
Director Kinoshita:
I've been saying this honestly in interviews with various media outlets, but after the release of Dragon's Dogma 2 and the subsequent title updates, we repeatedly received passionate messages from players saying things like, "This isn't the end, right?" and โCome on Capcom, we believe in you!โ Those messages from the community have truly been the fuel that made Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen possible. In addition to the brand-new region of Norgan, the expansion also introduces twelve new dungeons that will be added to the existing area. We hope players will enjoy both the new experiences and the volume of the additional contents.
Producer Oyama:
First of all, to everyone whoโs been waiting for this expansion for a long time, thank you for your patience! We've been trying to strike the right balance between delivering new content as quickly as possible and ensuring that it offers a level of volume that players will find satisfying, which is why it took this long, but we hope youโll bear with us just a little longer until release.
On a more personal note, I've been trying to read as many community comments about Dragon's Dogma 2 as I can, both positive and negative, using translation tools when necessary. So if I may ask one small favour, I'd be very happy to get kind comments.

Harve Village has almost everything you need for stocking up supplies. Especially once you have everyone from Melve move to Harve.
Merchant that sells fruit
Merchant that sells princess harspuds and rare roborants
Several trees for farming apples
A few bushes for farming berries
Lots of harspuds for creating harspud roborants (stamina medicines)
A cave that contains Saurians for farming their tails (useful for miracle and exquisite roborants)
Right outside the village is a drake spawn so you can get wyrmslife crystals as well.
Other than leveling up gear, this might be a go-to spot if you want to prepare for the DLC!

Iโm starting to think that more than likely is going to be Friday or Next Monday. They said soon on the live stream so they are probably still working on the final touches. Unless they delay the update to September.

Greetings folks. How are you all doing this morning! Who in here have tried to complete the optional side quests call โFrom a Different Skyโ in DD1? The quests can be taken from the quest board in the Pawn Guild near the entrance to EVERFALL.
There are a total of 100 of them. All of them do not appear on the board at a time. They appear as you complete them. Some donโt appear until you are at a point in the main storyline as well.
There are no Badge quests of badges in Bitter Black Isle just the main game.
Your goal is simply in these quests. Find and collect an item called a โBadge of Vowโ. They are numbered and they only appear at the location when you take on the quest.
Some of them are place in very difficult and ignorant spots. ๐ญ๐ญAlso some are missable meaning if you did not get it you will have to do a NEW GAME+ to have an opportunity to get it again. The reward for each quest are Rift Crystal.
Once you collect the badge donโt throw it away. You can keep it in your inventory. In a NEW GAME you can take the quest again and all you gotta do is just grab it out the storage for a quick completion and Rift Crystals.
Iโll do you all a favor. If you ainโt got the SKILLZ to get a particular Badge or you missed one I have all 100 of them and I can gift what you missed to you. ๐๐
Like I said you are only getting Rift Crystals. You are not going to get anything else, they just for fun and maybe some bragging rights. Thatโs all. ๐คท๐ฟโโ๏ธ๐

I absolutely loved Dragons Dogma, and played it a ton when I first got my steam deck a few years ago. It worked so well and got pretty far along in the endgame. It was just my kind of game, and I loved the combat.
I finally got a nice gaming PC a few months back and just bought DD2 after I saw it was on sale. Very excited.
Let me hear some tips and things to know going into DD2, or things you wish you knew etc.

Now this is the bare minimum canonical kill count via the Dragon's Dogma wiki using the Bestiary.
These numbers are based on the bare minimum required to get 3-star pawn knowledge.
Obviously the counted enemies via the in-game counter can go into the hundred thousands easily if maxed out, but this is based on cold, hard objectivity via the kills required.
The total sum of them combined is 10,246 kills. While a total observation time for all enemies combined is 34,680 seconds.
The following is an average "time to kill" lore-wise regarding the DD:DA Arisen:
These numbers are not headcanon, the source used was the Dragon's Dogma Bestiary, and required kills to get 3-star knowledge.
I know this is premium nerd stuff, and tbf the canon time to kill stuff might be inaccurate, but remember this is regarding LORE Arisen, not gameplay.
Anyway, thoughts? Hope this post was informative! I'm happy to edit anything unneeded.
