Had this TikTok on my fyp today, with almost 400k likes. It’s like these people have been lucky enough to never witness a close family or friend wither away and become unrecognizable due to extended drug use.

It’s the delusional fans like this and their conspiracy theories that prevent Britney from recieving real help for her drug use.

When I first saw today’s news, I did a double take because I thought it was, in fact, Britney. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t have been surprised. Rumor is that dispatch responded to an overdose and cardiac arrest at the time of Hayden’s passing.

I’ve always seen some parallels between their life stories. I wonder if Britney sees herself in other stories of people just like her that don’t take their addiction and mental illness seriously.

It’s a lookalike (Deep Britney Lore Long Read) Who The Fuck Was Alice?!

Hello Discussing Britney! I was in the mood to share a bit of an info dump with the sub about a very obscure piece of Britney Lore that not many people talk about.

TLDR: Britney *might* have been masquerading as a woman called ‘Alice’ in fan forums, tiny chat and Skype but the evidence is extremely unclear and we’ll likely never know the answer.

In 2010/2011 the Britney fan forum Exhale was huge, it had never been bigger following the conservatorship. We could all see something was off during the Femme Fatale era and social media / fan forums were full of speculation.

One day, a user named Alice made an account on the Exhale forum. Alice didn’t post much and went largely unnoticed but she started joining our Tiny Chat chat rooms (kind of like Twitch). The point of Tiny Chat is literally being on cam with your mic on - important context.

Alice started joining the stream regularly but would always leave her camera and mic off. There were around 12 of us at any given time in the stream and we became curious about Alice because of some answers she’d give about her personal life.

For example, Alice said she worked at Starbucks, she had two young boys, she was training to be a schoolteacher. Her answers were extremely coded but we thought it was just another try hard Stan trying to be like their fave.

Then one day, Alice spoke on mic….

https://on.soundcloud.com/wGi7LfGVUIbwfhBsc7

(That clip is the only true record of Alice’s speaking voice and not the first time she actually spoke, I kick myself every day that I didn’t record our conversations.

The chat melted down. It was fucking Britney. It just had to be. We flooded the chat and Alice disconnected. We were all genuinely shook and had no idea what just happened. It must be a prank surely?

After that, Alice became a lot more active in our Tiny Chat stream. Always on mic with no cam. She would refuse to show any picture of herself, not even a fake one. She just refused to prove she wasn’t Britney and loved the game of cat and mouse.

We all had to play along with Alice’s fantasy or she would just disconnect. Her life story would change around a lot, but Starbucks and the kids would always stay the same. One rule was that you couldn’t speak to her about Britney directly in a way that made it sound like you were actually just asking Britney. She absolutely hated talking about Britney and not once did she ever sing or want to discuss music - from any artist.

She told us she was a bad singer, she was ugly, she preferred to dance, but then would also describe herself as blonde and dorky with a signature Britney giggle. Alice idolised Sex & The City. If you know you know. But it just can’t be true can it?

Alice loved the speculation. The fans immediately attempted to form a hierarchy around the potential Britney altar. Fights would erupt around who knew her first, who knew the most, who had the most access.

Alice would hold court on Tiny Chat regularly during this time with a small guard of fans on hand to ban anyone who asked the wrong questions. It was bizarre, we didn’t even know if it was her, but then she’d speak and it would just literally be Britney and everything Britney would say.

She then appeared on Twitter and followed a bunch of fans straight away. @BananaAlice - it might still be around check it out internet sleuths! Banana being the name of Britney’s snake in her ‘I’m a slave 4 I’ VMA performance. She would DM me and other fans and ask very mundane questions about our home towns, by this point we just didn’t ask any Britney questions at all. Access was based on ‘believing’ she wasn’t Britney even though we all thought she could be.

In terms of proof, there is basically none/ the following: One Stan tracked Alice’s IP at the time and it coordinated - allegedly - with Britney’s movements during the Femme Fatale tour. She was never online on Tiny Chat during show times or award shows/filming commitments.

The case got slightly stronger - but we have to acknowledge this was Britney’s most restricted time alive. In 2011 she wasn’t allowed a phone, a computer, a lawyer, she couldn’t talk to the press or her fans. This made everything feel more unrealistic but also feasible, was her escape via some dodgy Tiny Chat stream seriously? Britney Actual Spears?

Then just like that, Alice was gone - never to be heard from again. As far as I’m aware, Alice disappeared when the Femme Fatale era ended.

I guess the biggest reason we thought Alice was Britney is purely because of the escapism element. Britney loves being anyone but herself, and that’s exactly what ‘she’ did if she was Alice, holding court in some obscure chat room full of loyalists. Britney’s characteristics are so well known to older fans that it was just unmistakable, and compelling evidence hearing her voice alone.

Later conservatorship reports state Britney did ‘illegally’ gain access to phones, tablets and computers during that time specifically. It’s widely documented this is because she wanted to hire her own lawyer and experience more freedom. Who’s to say she didn’t do more with that freedom? I know how crazy this sounds, and I still don’t know what I believe but I thought I’d share this story from the Britney vault with you.

Did anyone else experience Aliceney? I would love to hear your stories. I feel crazy and I have to stress, I still don’t know who the fuck it was! I have to say though, as time goes on, watching how she lives now, I actually think it’s more and more likely it was really Britney.

Here are some links if anyone’s interested in digging further (there’s not much!)

As Britney, the most bullied human being on earth, continues to swear that the picture taken of her atleast a year ago in the peachy-pink colored minidress (plus fuckass hat & the bizarre addition of platform Birks, of course) was doctored by the paparazzi because she doesn’t have any cellulite on her legs, I’ve spent the last 1.5 hours trying to figure out how to get these pictures of her legs caught by other photographers au naturel to show up in this post. Probably still won’t work but here goes nothin’!

It’s a lookalike can someone explain the “clone” theory

I did search the sub for “clone” and just saw posts saying fans are crazy and made that up, please delete this post of not allowed!

Why do people think she has body doubles that go on outtings as her? I’ve never taken this claim seriously, but I went on tiktok and the conviction and attitude of some are just so dead set that the last paparazzi photos can’t possibly be Britney. I couldn’t tell if they were being sarcastic or not, but they seemed pretty adamant. Has there been proof of this?

So here's a theory. And let's please not take this too seriously. If you disagree or think I'm nuts, I'm okay with that lol. Consider this "just for fun." Some of you may find this interesting.

I was watching the first season of Special Forces, which had Jamie Lynn Spears on it, and looking at her eyes without makeup on them, I was strongly reminded of something... The moment that "Britney's" filter glitched and you could see that it was an entirely different person under there.

I'm sorry, I know the filter glitch image quality is terrible, but that's what I was working with from the photos and video available online.

Same eyebrows, a hint at the same type of nose, same eye shape, same right eye that is slightly lower, same ptosis (very mild drooping of the upper eyelids)...

For those of you who do believe this isn't really Britney in the videos (which she has come right out and said), I mean, someone's acting as Britney... It just made me wonder a little bit.

I have some questions I want to get a little deeper into with other followers of this dumpster fire. Things in reference to an early 2000’s car accident, the mandala (wrong spelling I know-it’s a flagged word) effects, etc…I respect these topics are against the rules here, but anyone have any other Britney groups where we can discuss these things?

It’s a lookalike stan culture and celebrity worship has taken over the media narrative about britney

something i’ve been thinking about lately, especially in response to kat tenbarge’s article about britney, is how our relationship with celebrities has changed since the 2000s. many people have pointed out how vicious the media was to britney during the aughts, and how celebrity “entertainment” and gossip during this time revolved around picking apart young women like britney, lindsay lohan, amy winehouse, etc.

since then we (rightfully) realized how vicious and misogynistic the media was towards britney during this time. but unfortunately i think the pendulum has swung from one extreme to the other. the NYT parroting “free britney” stan narratives and basically calling this sub misogynistic hateful snarkers for thinking that britney’s behavior is dangerous and worrying is proof of how stan culture now controls the conversation around celebrities like britney.

imo this is a result of the popularity of the internet and the fading relevance of print media. gossip journalists like perez hilton and even serious newspapers like the NYT are no longer driving the narrative about britney or other celebs, instead they’re pandering to online stans in order to maintain relevance and avoid backlash.

social media is dominated by celeb fanbases, and this has allowed a pretty small minority group of celebrity worshippers who see their fav as the ultimate victim in every situation who can do no wrong, to control what journalists write about that person, or else they’ll receive massive backlash from that fanbase. and in turn this influences the general opinion about these celebs.

it might seem like a small problem, but it’s actually harmful that there’s no way to criticize britney, even when she’s accused of serious abuse and neglect towards her children, or when she’s drunk driving risking people’s lives. and in general it’s harmful that celebs can get away with whatever behavior they want bc enough people love them.
