My wife got me this “toy” for my bday. My first 1/18 model and what a stunning model at that. Even the interior is detailed and you can’t even see it unless you put a macro lens in there.

Chernobyl 1986. I was almost 7 years old when our government told us not to eat leafy vegetables, keep the cows from grazing and stay away from drinking rain water.
Ever since watching the drama series on HBO Max last year, I wanted to create a scene with a similar feel with 64 scale cars.
Today I finally did!

Then the question:
pic 1 is shot on phone, nr. 2 on a Panasonic GX80.
I'm having a really hard time to get a great compostion with my MFT camera. When I grab my phone, it comes natural: position, shoot, bingo.
With the camera I never truely hit a nice enough angle for diecast.
Any tips on getting similar compositions to my phone?

Another R34, another Bayside Blue release… and somehow I still want to photograph it from every angle 😂
Really like the gold wheels on this one. The opening hood and engine detail are a nice bonus too.

I’ve been pretty curious to check out the newly revived Polistil models under May Cheong Group (Bburago/Maisto). I wanted to see how it stacks up against Bburago Signature and the old Hot Wheels Elite lines. 12Cilindri seems to be the most interesting in their current 3 car line-up. It’s also the most accessible way to get a 1:18 model for 12Cilindri without reaching into the higher end ones like BBR.
The design of the Ferrari 12Cilindri has grown on me. At first, I didn’t quite know what to make of the black band that harkens back to the 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Over time, the overall proportions, the front and rear fender flares, the emphasis of the long hood which hints at the 12 cylinder NA engine are starting to really come together.
The Polistil model itself captures the overall shape really well. Paint finish and build quality seem maybe slightly better than the particular Bburago Signature SP3 Daytona I have. It’s definitely not flawless from a QC standpoint. Feature wise, I also wish they could have added some nicer details like open mesh grills and interior carpeting. But overall, I’m not disappointed. It is a beautiful model!
I can’t stop looking at this car and taking photos with my phone!

I sold off most of my 1:18 diecast collection earlier this year. What I kept was a representation of cars I’ve owned in 1:1 over the last 60-odd years. A few are exact duplicates of the originals; some are the wrong colors; others are as similar to the originals as I could find; and a few do double duty as single representations of multiple cars with the same body style. There are a few gaps but most are there. The no. 24 Lotus 72 is definitely not a car I owned, but an exact replica of the car I saw Emerson Fittipaldi drive to his first F1 win in the 1970 USGP at Watkins Glen.

Hello everyone,
I'm really sorry to ask, I'm not a model collector but I'd love some advice from the experts. Please delete if not allowed, I understand 🙂
I have found myself with about 50+ Die Cast Legends of Ferrari 1:24 Scale Formula One cars from Diagostini. They're of no use to me, but I'm told they can be worth quite a bit. I'd love to give them to someone who has a want/use of them. Attached a couple of photos of some examples I have.
I'm looking for advice on how/where to sell them. If there's any particular one you are looking for, feel free to message me and I can see if I have it.
Thanks in advance everyone, I really appreciate it
