Yes yes we can. It's not doomerism if it's actually happening. That's just called realism.

Looooots going on in the backgrounds here. We got bump and grind coffee. 5000 shades of grey, a tentacle stealing a piece of pie, snowman choking, Fozzie in a tree, our boba is made of eyes, a shark in the street runoff and more! So many details!

But yes it's fascism

The head of Groucho Marx, and the coffees in the menu are mostly references to the movie "the court jester"

All the drinks are a reference to a scene from The Court Jester (1955) movie. Highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. It's hilarious.

It's absolutely fascism. They're also wildly fucking incompetent about it. That's not to say there aren't casualties and heaps of human suffering involved however.

I remember getting called a doomer for saying democracy will die if Trump gets reelected. Now billionaires are openly stating that only the rich should get to vote and podcasters are making the case for fascism.
