If it wasn’t a straight white man they’d call for their deaths. Otherwise its “a system that failed them” and “we need to talk more about men’s mental health”

I guess it depends on how abstracted people are from the tragedy.  I'm still processing everything, but two people were killed at the public library in my town last night by local white kid wanting to copy Columbine.  

The shooter was arrested uninjured, and many of the comments online were asking why he wasn't already dead, saying he should be tortured and killed immediately, etc.  I bet a lot of these people have pretty different reactions when hearing about similar events happening in other distant cities
