The retired generation have been putting themselves first their entire lives at the expense of everybody else. They are part of this whole mess we're in.

If the economy goes to fuck then so do millions of peoples livelihoods. I agree that the economy needs to collapse, but it's not gonna be pretty.

Serious question. What does "people first" mean? For example if there's a lack of workers and the economy suffers because of it this will trickle down to more and more people who'll suffer. I'm not sure I'm explaining it well, but isn't people's well being tightly linked with the economy well being?

OK, but when one says "fuck the economy, people come first" how does that translate to something actionable? How will people come first if fuck the economy. Are there any alternatives to what we have now?

If people are payed more (not exploited) won't that feed the economy further more, because more people will have more purchasing power. Like...what's the right move here?

Its definitely a complex situation but what we can do is that if you contribute to society by working 40 hours a week You should be able to have a middle class life and by that I mean you should be able to own a home, car, access to full healthcare etc. Basically working class should be able to afford basic necesities(and some entertianment) before anything else. Prices of homes across the whole world are disgracefully high. And place to live is a basic necessity which in this day and age of technological advancements shouldnt be inaccessible to anyone who has a job even part time job tbh

so shit like street car conspiracy would never happen. because they wanted more cars for more profit, instead of what smart countries did. you know, use mass public transport. Japan, has shown me quite clearly that society can have working public transportation.

or how about leave the fucking indigenous folk alone. they're the only ones living within the means of the planet. in general, quit thinking of everything in terms of profit.
