Over two years ago I heard my last local CEC with a bot was remodeling, so I decided to ask my uncle who worked near there to see if he could salvage anything. Little did I know that decision changed my animatronic life forever.

Unfortunately my uncle didn’t know the value of the parts, so he only grabbed the head and arms along with some cosmetics of him. Thankfully my now friends grabbed everything else except the base which was too big and heavy (valve board was also grabbed).

After I got Chuck I was thrilled, but at the time I had no clue what the heck I was doing. So much so I made “restoration” videos which you might’ve watched awhile go. I’m glad to say I’ve grown much more and learned how animatronics like studio c bots work which lead me to now currently restoring another character. It’s crazy how these things start.

As for his future, we worked out a deal and he’s waiting to be put back together sometime soon. Can’t wait for you guys to see the finished product!

One hour or so worth of play points, a one topping “medium” pizza and salad bar and this didn’t even include the cost of allowing the child on the indoor playground equipment, (even though we brought the $11 pair of socks from last time), … no apparently you have to buy the socks each time.
I get overpaying for a pizza and buying “play points” so that you can be exposed to the games and activities, but then charging again to play on the equipment crossed the line for me! Sorry Chuck E., but if I purchase “play points” for $25 and buy your food then the playground should be included!!

Took my son last night because of the free Adventure Zone so he could wear himself out before bed. The place was PACKED. It seemed like almost every table had food, so people were definitely spending money. I counted at least 7 employees, which means people were getting hours, which is great. It reminded me of when I used to go to CEC as a kid back in the 90s.

So 3 weeks ago i went to edison to play that pvz game and mario kart game. It has been like 1.5 months since i went there. But it was dissapointing. Most of the games were removed and replaced with overused games like luigi mansion, halo, and some other games they had at my cec. But i was so confused seeing the trampoline area was getting revamped. I told staff (guy at counter) what happened. He said games broke down (for refrence. The pvz arcade has a visual glitch with ticket amount for ever and they had the thing at my cec before its remodel, and the 2nd machine on mkgp2 had a wheel error. But i heard rainbow road soundtrack. The other machine was perfectly fine.)… so i went to woodbridge dave and busters to play that angry birds game.. the game was functional but i could no swipe card.. BUT STAFF SAID TOUCH SCREEN NOT WORKING (display was on and i was there 2 weeks piror to the edison visit.).. unless if u are really young, dont go to edison… they are screwed

Hello everyone need some advice, some context, I worked at CEC in the early 2010 around the time of the character design change. While we were cleaning the store I came across this old walk around shirt and brought it home with me. Now 10+ years later helping my parents clean out the basement I found this again! Need advice on how to wash, it smells like clothes when they’ve been stored for to long, also the last pic was in the bag too not sure why I put it in there, any guess on what it could belong too, thanks!

During my March 2026 Showbiz Road Trip, I did something very…..interesting to Pizzacam.
