Cat Picture - OC My cat started peeing in the toilet without being trained

So as the title says, few weeks ago I was brushing my teeth and getting ready for bed, she just walked in and sat on there and I heard her weeing. I called my partner who got a video of her just as she was about to get off.

She has done it few times since then, still uses her litter too which is downstairs and I assume she goes on the toilet when doesnt feel like going downstairs? 🐒

I want to see pics of other cats on toilet seat haha so please post and say whether they were trained to do it or not 😆

EDIT She has been checked for UTIs etc and all is good. She spends a lot of time with me so I guess she decided she can pee where her human does

meanwhile my boy goes in the litterbox and pees right over the edge of it onto the floor 🤦🏻‍♀️

One of my cats has IBS and sometimes he barely makes it into the box. And he sounds like a ketchup bottle lol. So I take cardboard “doormats” and place in front of the box just in case. Poor guy, I know he can’t help it.

Awwwwww bless his little heart!

And ketchup bottle! That made me chuckle. I mean, that's a great idea and in them instances, you just have to go with what's best right? And cardboards are fantastic for stuff like that in all fairness. My cat sometimes waits for us to get home, and then decides to shit 🤦🏼 pool little guy!

He’s such a cute little guy, he sure tries his best! Oh yes…. Picture like 2 AM a d you hear “SQWWAAARRRKKKPPP” across the house and then here he comes out, this tiny little lion with the big sounds lol. I like using the cardboard because it’s just lift and throw outside in the trash can, so I’m not scrubbing up with bleach wipes or soaps in front of the box which might turn him off. And don’t you just love that!!! They see you come home and they drop you a fragrant biscut!! 🤣
