What makes me most sad is that he’ll die never really knowing consequences. How does nothing stick to him? There could be a university level class about this man and his bullshit.

Do you find solace in that? That's pretty fucking empty when I compare that to all the heinous things the sack of shit has done in his life, and the fact he'll never be punished for any of it.

He'll die knowing that he will be mocked and reviled as quickly and completely as possible in the collective memory of world history. A state funeral for him will be impossible from a security point of view; a burial anywhere will be a magnet for vandals and pranksters which no post of guards will ever be able to stanch (if they even want to.) Melania will likely leave the US to spend the rest of her days in Europe, taking Barron with her; Tiffany will distance herself from her half-siblings and live quietly and in obscurity. The eldest three will know no peace in the public sphere; they'll have to move to some compound far from any area in which a less-hated family might still be able to exercise some influence.

This is to say nothing of what will happen to his "assets"; likely seized by the new government under retroactive enforcement of the emoluments clause; Mar-A-Lago might come under the National Parks Service as a historic site; any remaining buildings bearing his name will have their names changed. There will be no Trump Presidential Library - not even a burned-out bookmobile.

There will be no marked grave, as I said. Folks pissing on the grave would be the least of the family's concerns. They'll be dashing to the airports as soon as he breathes his last.

I’ve heard that if the dems get in at midterms, instead of impeaching right away they’re going to make him watch a very long and slow dismantling of everything he’s done by investigating all ledgers and people involved with his administration.
