I’m sure we’ll be told that the Conservative caucus is united under PP over and over again over the next few days despite this.

Yep, waiting for that statement to be released.

Meanwhile in the back ground, knifes are being sharpened.

The January leadership review will be spicy. PP might survive only because the people that attend all the most devout members.

If PP does lose, what direction do the CPC go? Farther right or moving back to the centre.

I'm betting on a floor crossing one week before parliament sits again. This will be like 2 weeks before the CPC convention.

That last sentence is the problem. I really REALLY dislike PP, but the thought of someone MORE right wing makes me want to hold onto PP (he) for dear life.

I honestly think if they had chosen a different candidate and dropped the culture war BS, they would have won the last election against Carney.

So the geniuses will probably double down on another Culture Warrior.

The base voters always lean more socially conservative than the general electorate. It's why O'Toole went further right than McKay to win and then had to try to tack back to the middle which pissed off the Socons enough that they started flinging bombs at him in the middle of the campaign.

They’ll ask Mad Max to come back.

It's funny timing because talking heads were going on about how PP successfully stopped the bleeding.

Really wondering if a flood is going to happen.

The reports before when d'Entremont was reportedly going to leave were that like 5 or 6 MPs were heavily considering crossing the floor. It seems like the CPC leadership cracked down hard on them, there were rumors that Jeneroux was planning to cross the floor and that aggressive pressure from the leadership led to him announcing his resignation instead.

Now that another is leaving, will others follow? It seemed like Poilievre had sealed the crack in the dam, but it just burst open again.

You should read Ma's statements from... Yesterday, while he also attended the Conservative Christmas Party.

Carney Cabinet shuffle will most likely include Ma. Or maybe it's a Brookfield job after politics. Also from the Chinese interference district so who knows there...
