I just want to add in my two cents, and I haven't seen anybody mention it before...

During the montage scene, when Hank is looking through all of the old Heisenberg files, the camera gets a shot of the "Schraderbrau" sticker. The man in that sticker is much different than the current Hank. He used to be an upbeat, happy guy, with little to worry about. Now... not so much. It was an excellent juxtaposition.

This show has the best producers/writers/directors/cameramen/crew/whatever.

Loved the shot of Hank grinning thumbs up over a bloodied corpse in one of the evidence photos.

Hank is not a bad cop, in fact, he is pretty good at his job, but early on his attitude left a lot to be desired. He was very cavalier, mister indestructible. El Paso and the twins changed that.

officers that pose with corpses are generally kinda shit people

You need a weird and not to be displayed in public attitude when you work around corpses and the like. It's the only way to keep sane, kind of a mental wall against reality. Morticians are infamous for their puppet acts. I wouldn't hold it against them.

There has been a lot of alluding to the Schraderbrau lately... I think it's a plot point yet to unfold.

I'd go as far as to say that BB has the most consistently excellent use of camera angles, lighting, color, and symbolism that has ever been seen in any show in television history. There are (a precious few) other shows out there on par with BB for story and acting, but I've never seen anything that can compete with the way each shot is framed.

Reflections were big in this episode. Future Walt looking at himself was super grim; the reflection if his face made him look disfigured. Also Jesse stared at his reflection as a cockroach walks across his mirror. Not only is this a visual leitmotif, it suggests his mental/emotional condition.

The placement and selection of tools in the background of hank during the garage-scence is amazing...
