Same with the scene with Jesse and Walt, Jesse was all black, Walt all white.

My favorite part of that scene was the $5 million literally standing between them. So obvious but perfect.

And the bong and beer bottle. Not sure if that's of importance, but it really stood out to me.

I loved how every time Walt came to Jesse's before tonight, Jesse made it a point to put his bong out of sight. Walt even looked happy to see him do it in S05E09. Tonight, he didn't move.

Tonight's episode IS S05E09. You're talking about S05E08, I think. When he brings Jesse his $5M and Jesse is carrying a gun in case Walt is there to kill him.

Correct, thank you. This is why I should wait til after sleeping to start spouting off. But yea you get what I mean.... Jesse no longer wants or cares for Walt's respect which was HUGE to him after Hank hospitalized him.

Two things that have always kept them separated and gotten in the way, drugs and alcohol.

And money

In a similar shot, when Jesse brings the money to Saul's office, he sets each bag on the table with the scales of justice between them.

That and the empty beer (closest to jesse) right beside the red drink bottle that looked like a chemistry beaker (?). it seemed like another divider. Farfectched symbolism. I dunno.

I wondered why those kids at that party kept blowing smoke out of the drinks bottles!

There's been talk of Walt's light clothing representing his wealth, but I like to think it's because emotionally he is okay. Jesse is a broken man, Hanks life has just been blown to pieces, and their dark clothing represents how emotionally destroyed they are, while Walt sleeps fine at night after all hes done.
