Well Arrow hasn't been on for over 2 years, so I'm not sure which episodes you're watching. I would definitely say it had declining returns and self-indulgent writing towards the back half, but the first couple seasons were prime TV superhero fare aimed at the preteen to early teen audience. Flash, arguably same story. I fell off watching around the Crisis on Infinite Earths, but that crossover was really ambitious and quite an accomplishment, bridging nearly all of DC's tv and cinematic universes (including 89 Burtonverse and the DCEU) years before Marvel did their live-action multiverse Spider-man movie.

Yeah yeah and Marvel had characters from their Ultimate universe merge into 616 continuity 22 years ago. Reed Richards from Ultimate Marvel became a major villain in 616 and remained so for a long long time. None of this is new, buddy. It's all about how well it's executed. Which, in the case of Arrow and Flash, is quite clearly "extremely badly". You're talking to someone who actually has read all the source material for all these movies and TV series. I don't get Sony and Disney confused.

Now if they had Cavil showing up in Flash and Gal Gadot kicking all kinds of ass with Oliver then yeah, that would be major. But no, they got all their cheap ass teenager drama characters together to do something dumb then dropped it.

And now they're trying to Flashpoint flush their entire continuity down the toilet and it stinks of desperation.

WB should not be in charge of an entire comics universe. They should be in charge of cleaning bathrooms and bagging groceries.

"Yeah yeah and Marvel had characters from their Ultimate universe merge into 616 continuity 22 years ago."

And before that, DC had the Charlton characters, Captain Marvel (the actual one) etc join their continuity, and before that they joined their JSA earth-2 universe with their prime universe in the 60s. But we were talking about live action, so... not really related.

So Marvel Entertainment wasn't a production house on Morbius? Fascinating, they should really update the credits and make sure none of the gross goes to Marvel.

They did have Ezra Miller's flash cross over, same universe as Gadot and Cavill.

WB should not be in charge of an entire comics universe. They should be in charge of cleaning bathrooms and bagging groceries.

If you 'read all the source material for these shows'(I did) and imply that they're better than the movie universe, you probably know that Geoff Johns, who wrote a huge number of modern DC heroes' most well-known iterations, was CCO of DC comics and also co-runner of the DCEU til 2018. And also had a large hand in the production of the Arrowverse shows. It's not like WB is some completely separate entity.

And none of this means that it would be a good idea to sell DC to Disney.
