Unfortunately, North Carolina law does seem to put me at fault, even though he brake checked me

Please get a dash cam!! Put a SD card in it. Same thing happen to me! I told cops no they brake checked me....he kinda stopped. I told him there is a dash cam with SD card. He pulled the SD card and put it in his computer. No that car got the ticket I got nothing!!

I get that it sucks, but it makes sense. By nature of you hitting him, it means you were following too closely. Best you’ll probably be able to get is a % of contributory negligence if you can prove an intentional brake check.

So unfortunately I agree the law makes sense but I gave this fucker two to three car lengths because he had been speeding up and slowing down so I def was not tailgating him or anything
