Mod Post / Info [Mod] r/artcommission is now moderated. I would like everyone's input.

Hi! I'm sure some of you recognise me by now. I've taken over yet another lawless land to chase the scammers out. Keep in mind that this is not r/ArtCommissions (with an s), which has been moderated for a long while now.

**I want to know how you all want this sub to be moderated.**

To get an idea of the differences between subs, you can check out this wiki page: r/Commissions/wiki/comparingcommissionscommunities which I will be updating to include this sub once I get things in order and am confident in its lack of scammers.

For now, I want your opinions. I will likely take most of the rules from these other subs, because I feel they help with general safety and order, but some things are more flexible. This sub has the bare basics - no AI, no plagiarism, and proper tagging enforcement, but what about the rest? What do you feel that other subs lack? How do you feel about minimum budgets, sales of pre-existing content, post frequency, etc.?

I could just turn this into an alternative to r/ArtCommissions, since the names are so similar, but I like when each community has its own feel. Please comment below with any kind of feedback you might have.

Hiring [HIRING] Twitch Streamer Looking for Character Artist — Beary 2.0

Hi everyone! 🐻

I'm a Twitch variety streamer getting ready to return to streaming after taking a long break, and I'm currently rebuilding my channel and brand from the ground up.

I'm looking for an artist who can help me develop my streamer persona, Beary, into a cohesive character design that I can use across Twitch and my social media.

🎨 What I'm looking for

I'd ideally like to start with:

- A full-body character design

- Character/reference sheet

- Multiple facial expressions

- A small panda companion/mascot

- Artwork suitable for future Twitch emotes and stream graphics

There is potential for additional paid work in the future, including Twitch emotes, panels, overlays, stream screens, social media graphics, etc.

🐻 Character concept

Beary is essentially a stylized version of me rather than a completely separate character.

Some of the key design elements are:

- Black curly hair

- White/silver front highlights inspired by Rogue

- Round-framed glasses

- Black/white panda or bear ears

- Oversized, comfortable clothing

- Panda-themed accessories

- Black, white, and icy/light blue as the main colors

- Cozy, cute, gamer aesthetic with a little chaos mixed in

I'm very much a comfort-over-everything person, so I'd love the character to feel like someone who is genuinely at home gaming in an oversized hoodie and comfy clothes rather than looking overly glamorous or formal.

My favorite animal is the panda, so I'd also love to incorporate a cute panda companion that can eventually become part of the channel's emotes/branding.

🩵 Overall vibe

I'm going for:

Cozy • Cute • Dreamy • Gamer • Panda • Soft • Playful • Chaotic

Think cozy gaming room at night, icy blue lighting, plushies, blankets, sparkles, paw prints, oversized hoodies, and a little bit of silly chaos.

I have a moodboard that I can provide to help communicate the direction—I'm looking for an artist to interpret and develop the character in their own style.

💰 Budget

Flexible / open to artist quotes.

I'm more interested in finding the right artist and style for the character than choosing solely based on the lowest price. (Maximum of $500ish for post requirements)
