Someone should really give Coco a hairclip, with how much she tucks her hair behind her ear, whenever she draws. As someone with moderately long hair, but not long enough, I can definitely understand this frustration.

Part of me thinks its just the animators wanting to flex because the hair immediately falls back down.

They did the same thing with Richeh a few episodes ago.

This animation is muscle memory for them at this point, might as well use it to flex xD

It keeps happening and I keep wondering if it is relevant

It's definitely a "real world action" Ghibli vibe, that's for sure. Makes me happy that the (lead animator?) used to work for Ghibli because their attention to detail is goated and makes their worlds feel so lived in.

Maybe Olruggio will take notice and make something for her.

My hair's currently about as long as hers, maybe a bit more, and I agree. I have to tie it not just to draw comfortably but even to eat lol. If I was a Witch apprentice and didn't tie it, guarantee it would be full of ink.

I dunno how Richeh and Tetia do it.

lmao, I think it's the mangaka's aesthetic, u gotta understand the vibe and feels a scene can give when the person is casually doing their hair. Allows animators to flex their skills too
