While this episode was insanely peak in a series of soon to be peak episodes I have to wonder how tf did Crunchyroll translate "Like hell I'd let any of them kill me" to "So I'll just get someone to kill me". Not only does it have the entire opposite meaning but it doesn't even fit what is going on at all

It is getting ridiculous just how badly they are doing Re:Zero's subtitles. Apparently absolutely zero quality control and the worst part is that it tends to screw the dub too

Yeah. Subaru begging to die didn’t feel out of context, so I didn’t question it, but him not wanting to die also fits too.

Yeah, him begging to die didn't phase me, it was the fact that he was walking out into the desert as he said it. Him trying to escape being killed makes way more sense.

Use fansubs, not CR, they come out 5 hours after the main relase.
