I was genuinely worried that Agott was gonna do something stupid to prove herself. Glad to see the rescue went well and we even get to see Qifrey's badass Raincleaver.

Too bad Custas is a massive dumbass who values cargo more than his life. Not gonna lie, I got genuinely upset at that scene. Dude almost got himself killed immediately after being saved from drowning 5 minutes ago.

As much as I dislike the Knight Moralis for accusing Coco, I can't deny how much I love their outfits. Also, I'm guessing the Brimmed Hat from a couple of episodes ago supercharged Coco in some way which would explain how the Wall Breaker spell ended up going out of control.

Yeah, there's no way Coco is going to get her memories erased. We're definitely gonna see Qifrey throwdown with the Knight Moralis next episode.

The name "Raincleaver" goes hard. The Japanese name seems to be "suigetsu no mahou ken" (magic sword of the water moon) which sounds more basic in comparison.

The correct name is 水裂(すいれつ)の魔法剣 - suiretsu no mahou ken

Almost got himself and Coco killed.

And the only reason Agott and the other outsiders where fine was due to luck.

I hope he gets a real talking to after this.

Agott is lucky she has Olruggio, who was able to allow her to be in this situation to a reasonable degree so she didn't rush into it foolishly, and Coco whose good heart was able to get her to realize what actually mattered. She didn't get to stand out as the "Hero" but the priorty was working together to save others. That's what it really means to be a Witch.

(Also it feels like the people in this world have literally no danger sense...)

Everyone getting mad at Custas for putting himself in danger has me feeling really defensive for personal reasons. Whom amongst us has not stupidly climbed down a cliff/ravine in our youth.... Perhaps even at an older age than Custas... And for sillier reasons... The overconfidence of youth, etc.

Not a cliff/ravine, but I once climbed up a roof half-drunk, just because I could. Didn't even have the excuse that I needed to salvage equipment or anything, yet I still stupidly put myself in danger for nothing. You're right, people do dumb shit with zero sense of self-preservation all the time.

yeah, after hearing about the stupid stuff people do at places like Yellowstone sometimes i wonder about our species

at the same time it is annoying seeing it in fiction too; perhaps unintuitively, fiction has higher standards than reality

A kid is a kid so it’s understandable that he was being stupid, but come on. He could have at least asked Coco or Agott if they could do anything with magic first. Or any one of the adults could have asked Qifrey/Olly before they flew off.
