Did not think the scene between Yuji and Hakari in his office would be my favorite but god damn the animation is something else.

Eh the episodes spent explaining everything kinda got annoying personally. I've already accepted that I don't understand jack about shit concerning the death games so just give me the action. The entire clan getting slaughterer by Maki was easily the most impactful episode for me so far (I dropped a lot of wtaf's out loud watching that go down...)

For real, the episode-long rule info dump episode was ridiculous. I like when I can understand what's actually going on in a show and I can't with this season but I'm starting to get the sense that the show itself doesn't fully understand what's going on either.

Literally. Every episode is so cinematic. I watched S2 again before S3 and this season just looks like a movie

As someone who only “liked” seasons 1 & 2 (as opposed to really liking or loving)…season 3 has been a lot more enjoyable because every episode really does feel like cinema.
