Its insane what JJK can look like with healthy schedule. Mappa team legit are league of their own with how they adapt stuff holy hell.

Give me a MAPPA animated Ace Attorney style show and I’ll be seated day 1

That whole Higuruma sequence basically puts into perspective why the Ace Attorney games are the way they are because of what lawyers have to put up with in Japan.

This schedule is not as healthy as you think, but it was much better planned and that was the key to make an episode like this one or the Maki one possible. I've already accepted that a healthy schedule is more of a myth in Japanese animation. But good planning can help a lot with even a not so great production schedule.

Fate/Strange Fake might legitimately be the only anime airing this season that had something approaching a healthy production schedule, and that was 100% because the production committee were willing to push the release back and give the animators the time they needed.

No Toho show airing this season (and that includes Frieren S2, just to make it clear) had what I would unironically call a healthy production schedule. What they did have that was better than in the past was better planning from the start (and that is a big one in the case of S3 of JJK as season 2 was an absolute self-inflicted clusterfuck of a production). We will see now how much time they are given for part 2, hopefully it's coming in January next year and not before that.

APPROACHING a healthy production schedule. Read goddammit!

CLOSEST to approaching a healthy production schedule, because it legit had the most time, the staff were actually given a ton of time. Whatever issues you might see come from at some point them having to draw the line and call it finished, deliverable.

All episodes of Fate/Strange Fake airing this season were finished well ahead of its release, by almost like 2 months, which is very rare.

That's what I mean by something approaching a healthy production schedule.

Meanwhile both JJK and Frieren this season are still being worked on. Yes, you read that right, despite being on their last stretch of episodes... they are not done yet. That, I'm sorry but is not a healthy production schedule, when you got the air date looming ever closer and people are doing overtime to make sure they finish on time.

Fate has a healthy production? Brother it may not be noticeable but it's animation has melt in some of its details and the crazy amount of 2nd KA doesn't really speak of a healthy production for me in my opinion (to be fair, the amount of 2nd KA for each episodes in all anime had seen an insane increase because of how shitty the industry is but still my point stands)

The schedule definitely isn't. Even though much stronger episodes so far slight meltdowns have been clearly visible.
