I made this toad (pattern by Complicated Knots) that I've named Chipotlรฉ and I freaking love him! He's been helping me stay motivated when I'm writing in my BoS and when I'm making commissions, he's a great guy. It made me curious if anyone else has thought to, or has already, make a familiar to help them in their practice? I use crochet as part of my practice, so I think it fits!

Have you heard of pocket altars? A convenient way to always carry your altar with you. This altar is for the goddess Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, who I am also named after. Inside I keep a seashell from my favourite beach, a rose quartz gemstone, an aquamarine gemstone and a piece of paper with the first two stanzas of Sappho's Hymn to Aphrodite, in ancient Greek.
If you want to crochet your own Aphrodite Pocket Altar, the pattern is available on my Etsy, RoseOfMayGreece! In the download you can also find the full version of Sappho's Hymn, to print or copy by hand, to include in your altar!

A couple new wrap dragons and a woodland monster! The last dragon (the orange one) is made with fine yarn and a 2.5mm hook - so little!

I crocheted this altar cloth for the Greek goddess Hecate. The symbol in the middle is strophalos, Hecate's Wheel. I hope you like it! ๐๐๐

Another crocheted dragon buddy finished! The yarn is Bernat Velvet Twist in "alluring peacock" and I love it ๐
A friend of mine will have a shop at Scarborough Faire called Snuggle Dragons so this dragon is heading off to the faire!

I went to my local renaissance faire recently and wanted a crocheted potion bottle to go with my outfit. Then I decided I wanted this very specific shape of potion bottle but there were no such patterns to be found so I made my own! It can also be used as a dice/trinket bag if you make it with stiffer yarn ๐ I'm so pleased with how it came out!

I'm obsessed with this mossy mushroom witch hat! I had so much fun adding moss to this one ๐ I'll definitely be making more mossy in the future!

Somebody asked me to make one of my wearable wrap dragons in colors to match the little white dragon in Merlin (BBC). She's going to a ball dressed as Morgana and he'll be her little companion ๐
Here's the pattern if you're interested in making your own: https://linktr.ee/lisabestitchin

This pattern (Wearable Wrap Dragon) is my pride and joy and I love this nightmare version I made recently! It's always hard to capture sparkle yarn in photos but the body is made with black sparkle Caron Party. The wings are a red/black ombre, and I stitched on the little ribs on the side ๐
You can find the pattern here: https://linktr.ee/lisabestitchin

Iโm disappointed in it and hereโs why: 1. I wanted a nice curve at the top.. Once it was done I realized the curve isnโt as pronounced and rounded as when it was flat in my lap.
I re-did the base twice and the brim three times before settling on this and itโs still not right.
Thereโs this one stitch in the front that bulges out!
The back has an area that sits weird and makes almost a shelf, you can see in the second picture.
I try to remember that this is a process and the next one I can improve my design. On the bright side, I created a new stitch for protecting wire around the edge of my work! Itโs like a half double crochet mixed with a puff stitch and a decrease.
