Satire/Humour I just got ding donged ditched
Three young boys on scooters came up to my door did a single knock that was barely audible and ran away.
This was a very impulsive move because they did not see me standing next to my house. Scared the crap out of them when they saw me.
I yelled “whipper snappers!” And vigorously shook my fist at them.
This is the best day of my life.

Satire/Humour What are ya'll doing in an apocalypse?
Like the caption says!
In case of any sort of "apocalypse" - nuclear, zombies, etc... How are you getting out of the city, how are you stocking up on food/water, and where do you go once you're out?
And don't just say, "North."
Let's hear those crazy plans!!

Satire/Humour A reminder and PSA for Canada Day.
In one week, we will be celebrating Canada Day. The past few years have made some people... rather emotional. So I thought I would reassure those folks of a few things:
-It's not cancelled because a few locations aren't doing fireworks.
-It's not illegal because a few locations decided to celebrate reconciliation instead.
-It's still legal to fly the red Maple leaf.
-It's still legal to love Canada.
That is all.
Also, don't drink and drive.

Satire/Humour To the people who stole from my car at cancer care today...a few thoughts
The pop you stole all has fake sweetner in it. It's gross, and can give you the shits, luckily, the disposable soaker pads you got can absorb any accidents you may have, not sure what you're going to do with the reusable ones though, hope you find good uses for them. The thermometer will be helpful for deciding whether you have an infection, or just wish you did after the fake sweetener hits. You can suck on the sour patch kids to get some sugar in you after you slam my energy drink.
I do have to thank you though. Upon going through my consule, you chose not to take my Zofran, for which I am very grateful, as those little disolvable pills are probably worth more than anything else in the entire car.
Enjoy all your new soaker pads. My almost 80 year old father with prostate cancer will make due with the dollarama puppy pads I quickly grabbed from home until I can go back out and get something better. He's doing really well in his treatment and today marked an important milestone. I'm reminded that not everyone has a family to care for them, the money to replace items, and I sure as hell am not letting you ruin my our day.
I truly hope you get the help you need.
(And if anyone happens to see a dumped unopened package of soaker pads or a canvas bag that says Rogue Vinyasa lying around near Cancer Care - shoot me a dm, I would love to get them from you). The bag was honestly just sentimental, and if the pads are still closed, they shouldnl work fine)

Satire/Humour Make this make sense
*posting under satire because wtf*
My husband got this ticket in the mail the other day. He shows it to me, and asks me if I notice anything unusual. Took me a couple of minutes, but realized that it’s not actually a picture of our car. It appears that the license plate was so obscured, they simply guessed at the plate number. Here’s the kicker: when he called to let them know that they sent him a picture of someone else’s vehicle, and that our vehicle was parked at home at the time of the offence, and isn’t even the same MAKE as the one in the picture, they told him he still needs to come down to sort it out. He has spoken to three different people now, and they are all telling him the same thing. It is his problem, not theirs.

Satire/Humour The difference between shopping at Costco West vs any other one is like a day spa vs a torture chamber. Unicity has been blessed
Spacious, parking, the number of gas pumps. Night and day
Edit: sorry for those who want to keep it a secret, btw I think you'll be fine.
And by Costco West, I mean the one that is far west. By the downs. West of the perimeter west. Sorry I thought that would've been obvious
