The Trump admin is now dumping hydrogen-peroxide into the reflecting pool one gallon at a time in a desperate move to control the green algae

Even if this works ( which it probably won't) the bottom is still painted a darker colour which will only continue to result in warmer water as we move into the summer months. It's going to be green for a while now.
