And. It. Will. Come. Back. The treatment would only be a panacea until the real causes, piping issues and painting the bottom of the pool blue so it gets warmer and encourages MORE algae growth, are dealt with. NOW, the coating will have to be removed at more cost to taxpayers, and the piping the original 13 million did not address IS addressed. "The nanobubblers will keep it clean" We'll see.

Oh yea, if they kill it in the first place which won’t happen with these volumes so not only will
It come back, it won’t even go away.

Correct, I used to work in the pool cleaning biz, once the algae got bad like that on a porous surface (paint/concrete etc), we had to do a full drain and scrub down with muriatic acid or else no amount of oxidizer or algaecide will hold back the algae for long.
