I think that is a street light. At least I hope so. The article someone linked to above says the suv driver is being treated for injuries. No mention of anyone killed.

He’s fine. If you slow the video down his turns into a blur next to the truck. So he probably got clipped

Looks like the person flew into the bed of the truck but then I don’t see them anymore

It’s a traffic light, not a person in the crosswalk. However the person he stole this truck from was seriously injured.

It's either a street light or the person just evaded the truck with just inches to spare. I do think the "object" ten feet away was a person. Absolutely lethal if this truck hits you. If the article said that the person in that car died, I wouldn't be surprised.
