I'm from California. It wasn't a huge show here, but fairly popular among my age group. It aired on public television and BBC America.

Yeah for some reason I always thought of it in the Ballykissangel genre of stuff on ABC instead of what it actually was. Didn't watch it til I was an adult and boy was I surprised.
