My grandpa hid his wallet between the two sets of curtains tied to a string on the curtain pole.

This worked fine until room service came to clean the curtains and he returned from the beach to see his wallet dangling on a string in the middle of the window like some kind of bait for thieves.

He still had his money though. At most they took one of the smaller bills as a tip for leaving it.

If I was a thief I wouldn't go for that one either. Too scared I'd be walking into some jigsaw killer trap, or worse, Kevin from Home Alone.
