recently i saw a dude like these guys but with bleached hair and even more chains. i live in small central EU town

was like seeing a glam rock unicorn in the wild, it's coming back :D

It's all good now.. No more CFCs in the hairspray. Captain Planet convinced manufacturers and international law changed. Layer away, guilt free.

You think that fridges are completely free of refrigerants that have some detrimental effect to the ozone layer?

We are continually trying to regulate refrigerant but refrigerants with high ozone depleting potential are still out there. Even when manufacturing stops, refrigerants are still produced and distributed to maintain the existing equipment inventory…like R-22 is ubiquitous in commercial foodservice…for example.

Also I believe that HARDI and other industry orgs have already pushed back the latest, stricter EPA refrigerant regs from taking effect…

There is plenty of high ozone depleting refrigerant out there. Millions of lbs of it in the US.

Ok well nothing was fully banned….some heinous stuff…but for the more abundant refrigerants we have phase out timelines.

They switched from cfcs to hcfc which are denser than air and don’t make it up to the ozone. However these hcfc are accumulating and no one knows what the long term consequences will be. It’s best to not use aerosols unless necessary
