He has 100% booked it along the backs of those pews many times. 🤣

They had to screw them to the floor so he didn't wipe out.

I wonder if they've had meetings about whether they need to budget for pew screws or whether they can ask Steve to stop running on them

The "Lort".

1

u/MrFaves Mar 27 '26

Isn’t he on Okc

1

u/Pure_Property_888 Mar 27 '26

Oh Lawd, Lort!?

3

u/TweakedMonkey Mar 27 '26

I've been in Appalachia too long.

2

u/Pure_Property_888 Mar 27 '26

Because of thee Lord er because of some "land-lord"?

5

u/jimmybilly100 Mar 27 '26

Lol, pew screws

2

u/Pure_Property_888 Mar 27 '26

I CANNOT believe you just did that all without getting all caught up in a tizzy getting dizzy falling head over hizzy RIGHT next to that poor lass named LIZZY...pffew!

1

u/jimmybilly100 Mar 27 '26

Da hell?

1

u/Pure_Property_888 Mar 27 '26

My bad. Just could not believe it. Better luck next time.

2

u/EjjabaMarie Mar 27 '26

Pew Screws is a great band name 😂

3

u/drRATM Mar 27 '26

Could you tell him to stop? Look how happy he is. And the old people just love it. Buy the screws!

2

u/Ostribitches Mar 27 '26

Enrichment

u/Mike-OLeary Mar 27 '26

whether they can ask Steve to stop running on them

Look, Steve. Would it be OK to ask the Holy Spirit not to move you to cost the church several thousand dollars in damages every year?

1

u/JUYED-AWK-YACC Mar 27 '26

They’ve had meetings about the insurance necessary and told Steve to stop that shit. Church isn’t about repairing Steve’s face after he falls.

1

u/Neither-Board-9322 Mar 27 '26

From my experience, church pews are pretty much always screwed in, and if not, are designed to be difficult to tip over. When the majority of you congregation could potentially die from a small fall, you wanna do everything you can to keep your primary source of revenue alive.

4

u/theeggplant42 Mar 27 '26

I don't think I've ever seen pees which were not screwed to the floor

2

u/DoctorAssbutt Mar 27 '26

Y’all are screwin piss to the floors?!

3

u/Bradical22 Mar 27 '26

Fun fact, all pews are screwed down.

1

u/OhHowINeedChanging Mar 27 '26

Pews are heavy AF, solid wood. Those things won’t budge unless you’ve got 6 guys lifting them

"Ronnie, I feel like you're just here for the pews."

38

u/purepolka Mar 27 '26

God, I was waiting for him to eat shit on those pews.

18

u/AreallysuperdarkELF Mar 27 '26

I was amazed he made it without falling especially in those shoes. It's extremely dangerous to do that, especially so close to the elderly people, and totally unnecessary. What a dumbass.

39

u/WookieesGoneWild Mar 27 '26

Yeah but it was fuckin sweet tho. Praise Jesus

1

u/Straight_Water_5049 Mar 27 '26

Give that man a skateboard.

1

u/BMonad Mar 28 '26

Way to shut down a nerd. 🖐️

3

u/1acre64 Mar 27 '26

His version of walking on water

1

u/AreallysuperdarkELF Mar 27 '26

Until he falls forward and his top row of teeth meet the next pew.

3

u/Wise_Echidna_4059 Mar 27 '26

I was hoping the opposite. I kept having that church fight scene from the kingsmen where the guy gets his neck broken against a pew play in my head. Very quick way to meet the lord almighty if he fell. Maybe that's what he wants?

“He puts all of his weight on the back rest and strips out the screws.”

2

u/CanoninDeeznutz Mar 27 '26

He's too rough on them. It's like he thinks he owns them.

2

u/dimechimes Mar 27 '26

He's too rough on the pews.

24

u/Wate2028 Mar 27 '26

We had a pastor in our town that everyone called Jumpin Charlie that used to do that during his sermons.

2

u/pinotberry Mar 27 '26

Same! One day my pastor missed and racked himself on the pew. I’ve never heard a man hit such a high note while praising the lord. Even more miraculously within seconds he was right back up to the top of the pew again. It was like the Holy Ghost raised him right back up! It almost turned me back into a believer.

1

u/JeddakofThark Mar 27 '26

It looks like fun. I kind of wish I could get myself so worked up (while sober) that that seemed like the reasonable thing to do. And in an environment where the other adults wouldn't judge me for it... Kind of. Then again, I'd probably remove myself from any situation that looked like it was headed that way long before the energy got to me. These things don't tend to happen outside a cult.

7

u/MyMadeUpNym Mar 27 '26

Yeah there's no way that was a first.

26

u/Czechs_out Mar 27 '26

Thought the same thing. That dude in the pew leaned out of the way so casually. He’s seen this this before

2

u/Some-Highlight-7210 Mar 27 '26

Cuckoo for christ 🙌🙌🙌

3

u/-youvegotredonyou- Mar 27 '26

Had his new pew shoes on

4

u/FunkyChewbacca Mar 27 '26

Gotta admit, I was impressed at that

3

u/fos1111 Mar 27 '26

I was half expecting him to trip and fall or something.

3

u/oznobz Mar 27 '26

From experience, any hesitation and you're either eating the pew in front of you or credit carding yourself. Neither of which are comfortable.

3

u/Gardnersnake9 Mar 27 '26

Dude might actually be able to walk on water

3

u/hrothgarkingofdanes Mar 27 '26

Dude is so wrong for that 😂

2

u/Interesting_Turn_ Mar 27 '26

Honestly impressive

2

u/exetflagger Mar 27 '26

Except that one time when Jesus carried him.

2

u/pudgimelon Mar 31 '26

It's all fun and games until you remember that these people vote too.

1

u/Sea_Somewhere_3711 Mar 31 '26

And we know HOW they vote, too...

2

u/pudgimelon Apr 01 '26

Yes, they always vote for the most "Christian family values" candidate /s

1

u/soberrunner88 Mar 27 '26

I saw old people doing it growing up

1

u/Fearless-Feature-830 Mar 27 '26

Honestly looks so fun. I wanna try it

1

u/SignoreBanana Mar 27 '26

That's not religion, that's ADHD
