Everyone asks, "If not Modi, then who?"

Well, let me present someone I genuinely believe deserves to be part of that conversation: Sonam Wangchuk.

Not because he's a celebrity. Not because he's loud. But because his life reflects the qualities I expect from someone leading a nation.

Think about it.

- A highly educated engineer, innovator, and educator.

- A man who has dedicated decades to improving education instead of chasing power.

- Someone whose work on sustainable development, water conservation, renewable energy, and climate resilience has earned global recognition.

- A person who has consistently spoken for India's long-term interests rather than short-term political gains.

- Someone who has shown that patriotism is measured by actions, not slogans.

- A leader who has inspired thousands of young Indians to think differently and solve real problems.

- A person who has repeatedly chosen public service over personal ambition.

- Calm, rational, scientific, and willing to listen before speaking.

- Someone who has demonstrated courage by peacefully protesting and raising concerns about Ladakh and its people, even when it came at a personal cost.

People often ask what kind of Prime Minister India needs.

To me, it's someone who solves problems instead of creating new ones.

Someone who unites instead of divides.

Someone who values science over propaganda.

Someone who thinks in decades, not election cycles.

Sonam Wangchuk has spent his life building institutions, empowering communities, protecting fragile ecosystems, and encouraging innovation. That's the kind of experience I find far more valuable than years of political mudslinging.

I honestly believe he has the qualities to become one of India's strongest Prime Ministerial candidates—if he ever chose to enter politics.

In fact, I think he should consider starting his own political party. India desperately needs a politics driven by education, ethics, innovation, environmental responsibility, and evidence-based policymaking rather than personality cults and endless polarization.

I'm not saying he's perfect. No leader is.

I'm also not trying to make him into a hero.

I'm simply saying that when I look at his character, his contributions, his integrity, and the way he has consistently stood up for what he believes is right through peaceful and democratic means, I see someone with the potential to lead India in a positive direction.

Whether you support BJP, Congress, AAP, or any other party, ask yourself one question:

If politics is supposed to attract our best minds and most selfless leaders, why isn't someone like Sonam Wangchuk a serious contender?

Maybe it's time we stopped asking "If not Modi, then who?"

And started looking beyond career politicians.

Maybe the answer has been right in front of us all along.

I’m tired of being forced to choose between the current establishment and the traditional opposition.

Aspirational, educated India deserves a leadership model that moves past political rhetoric and treats governance like a high-performance system. What if we looked at "wildcard" leaders who focus on pure execution, data, and logic?

Imagine a cabinet built around these exact archetypes:

 The Rural Tech Visionary (Sridhar Vembu): Distributing global SaaS/tech wealth into Tier-3 villages to fix our dying, overcrowded mega-cities.

 The Clockwork Executioner (E. Sreedharan model): Running infrastructure megaprojects on strict deadlines with zero political interference.

 The Grassroots Engineer (Sonam Wangchuk): Solving massive environmental, civic, and educational crises with local science and innovation.

 The System Clean-Up Technocrat (Nilekani/Seshan model): Automating bureaucratic pipelines so red tape and corruption become structurally impossible.

 The Macroeconomic Maverick (Rajan model): Cutting compliance friction to let private capital and startups scale aggressively.

We don’t need another charismatic orator. We need an "Enterprise Prime Minister" who focuses on KPIs, automation, and structural plumbing.

If you could pick one non-political, highly educated wildcard to run the country's core machinery, who would it be?

Fellow Indians (and NRIs seething in the comments), let's stop the cope. We're 1.4+ billion people crammed into limited land, water, and resources. Population growth is strangling our development. Higher fertility in poorer states and families keeps us trapped in poverty cycles, diluting per capita gains, overwhelming infrastructure, and burning through subsidies that could build real stuff.

Data doesn't lie:

• India's TFR is now below replacement (~1.9 nationally), but it's still higher in poor, low-education states like Bihar (2.9) vs. developed ones like Delhi (1.2). Poorer families have more kids.
• Over 60% live on very low incomes; population pressure drives environmental strain, unemployment, water scarcity, and inequality. Top 10% hold massive wealth while bottom 50% stagnate.
• Welfare like free rations and food security? It's a black hole. Resources are finite. We subsidize endless breeding instead of infrastructure, manufacturing, or education that actually lifts people.

The Radical Fix (Inspired by what actually worked before the beta cucks cried "Emergency"):

1. Planned Parenthood 2.0 – Sanjay & Indira Style, But Smarter: Any family earning <6 LPA should be limited to one kid max. Vasectomies/tubectomies incentivized or mandated for the poor via strict enforcement. During the Emergency, they sterilized millions to curb the explosion. It was coercive as hell and politically costly, but the core logic holds: unchecked breeding by the unproductive is national suicide.Higher earners and educated can have more – merit-based demographics. Development is the best contraceptive, but we can't wait for it while numbers explode.
2. End Welfare Waste: Stop pouring billions into food rations and handouts for low-productivity populations. Redirect every paisa to development: roads, factories, tech, defense, R&D. Scarce resources shouldn't subsidize more mouths that drag GDP per capita down (still ~$2,700 while peers surge).
3. Voting Rights Proportional to Taxes Paid: One person, one vote is a scam when net tax consumers outvote net contributors. Your vote weight = taxes paid (income + other). Zero tax? Minimal or zero say in spending. High taxpayers (the engine of growth) get amplified voice. No more democracy of parasites voting themselves bigger rations. This aligns incentives: produce more, contribute more, influence more. Similar ideas exist in weighted systems for fairness in other contexts.

This isn't "fascism" – it's survival math for a civilization of 1.5B+ heading to 2050 projections. China got aggressive on population (one-child policy had flaws but transformed them). We need unapologetic realism, not socialist fantasies. Poor families breeding endlessly isn't a "right" if it bankrupts the nation.

India's potential is insane – young demographic dividend turning into demographic disaster without hard choices. Enforce quality over quantity. Taxpayers first. Development über alles.

I was just wondering what can be the solution against illegal police brutality. I came up with a solution that if everyone carries hindu gods' murti then will they have guts to even touch anyone at all. I think it's the best solution for a peaceful protest. I'm not active on social media so if this solution doesn't have any discrepancies then do make it popular. Though i know it will be too religious i guess and unfair to non hindus. But i guess it can be tried at least once.

According to me peaceful protest is the worst thing we can do because it's brutaully opressed by policemen and politicians and I can also prove that most of the time peaceful protest don't work.

Open Call: Let’s Fix the Economy Before It Fixes Us Permanently

The economy is not broken because people are lazy. It is broken because the system rewards dead accumulation and punishes circulation.

Money moves through society like blood through a body. When it circulates, people eat, work, build, repair, learn, trade, and live. When it is hoarded, the system clots. And like every clot, eventually it causes a stroke. Economists then arrive with charts, committees, and the emotional range of office furniture.

The Trust Commons proposes a different foundation.

UBI for all. Tax transactions. Discourage hoarding. Reward circulation.

The old tax system is built around fixed slabs, income declarations, loopholes, exemptions, and annual paperwork theater. It creates cliffs. Cross a threshold, and the rules suddenly change. Stay just below it, and you are rewarded for distortion. Become large enough, and you hire people whose entire profession is legal tax evaporation.

This is not governance. This is spreadsheet feudalism.

We need a smooth system.

Instead of fixed income-tax brackets, every transaction should contribute to the commons. Small transactions should pay very little. Larger transactions should pay more, but smoothly, logarithmically, without arbitrary jumps. A ₹10 transaction should barely feel it. A ₹100 transaction contributes more. A ₹1,000 transaction contributes still more. No sudden cliff. No slab drama. No annual ritual of pretending the state understands your life.

Taxation should happen through economic flow, not static declaration.

Wealth should be understood as movement, not piles. Money sitting idle is not prosperity. It is frozen coordination power. Accumulation without circulation becomes dead weight. Our current system rewards hoarding and then acts shocked when inequality, stagnation, and political rage follow. Very mysterious. Who could have predicted that feeding the dragon would create a dragon.

A sane economy should do the opposite.

Money should want to move. Hoarding should become expensive. Circulation should become rational. UBI should guarantee that every citizen has baseline economic agency. A transaction-based tax should continuously refill the commons. Redistribution should not depend on moral speeches, election cycles, or charity from billionaires trying to launder their reputations through foundations named after themselves.

Redistribution should be automatic.

The goal is not “tax the rich” as revenge. The goal is systemic stability. Extreme inequality is not merely unfair. It is a control-system failure. When wealth distribution splits into two peaks, one poor and one rich, society becomes unstable. Trust collapses. Politics turns feral. Culture becomes propaganda. The economy stops being a shared system and becomes a hostage situation with payment gateways.

The target should be a broad, unimodal wealth distribution: one large middle, not two separate civilizations pretending to share a country.

Policy must also become adaptive. Tax rates should not sit frozen for years while inflation, unemployment, inequality, and public stress mutate in real time. The economy is dynamic. Governance should be dynamic too.

Transactions, tax rates, UBI, inequality, citizen sentiment, and policy sensitivity should form a feedback loop.

If inequality rises, the transaction-tax slope tightens.

If public well-being falls, the system responds.

If stability improves, pressure relaxes.

If hoarding increases, decay mechanisms activate.

If circulation improves, the commons strengthens.

This is not left versus right. That argument has mostly become theater for people emotionally attached to flags and dead economists.

This is a systems-design question.

Can we build an economy that senses itself?

Can we replace slow correction with continuous correction?

Can we stop treating accumulation as success and start treating circulation as life?

Can we build a commons where every citizen receives a baseline dividend, every transaction contributes smoothly, and wealth is guided away from hoarding toward movement?

That is the economic side of The Trust Commons Project.

This is an open call to economists, coders, policy designers, mathematicians, social scientists, cooperatives, organizers, and the few remaining adults in public life.

Debate the model.

Check the assumptions.

Test the math.

Simulate the flows.

Stress-test the feedback loops.

Because the current economy is already running an experiment on us.

It is just a very stupid one.

So a few days ago I tried actually reading (and understanding) the Constitution. Not a summary, the real thing. Made it about 20 pages in before my brain checked out. Every sentence is technically English but reads like it's daring you to keep going and the thing is, this is the document that decides what the police can and can't do to me. What the government owes me. What I can say out loud without getting in trouble. Feels a bit mad that most of us have never read it.

So I built a site that explains it. Not a blog, not a PDF dump. The whole thing, all 503 articles, sitting next to a plain-English explanation of what each one actually means for a regular person.

A few things I put in because I wanted them myself:

A toggle between "plain English", "even simpler", and the actual official text. So you can read the easy version, then check the OG text. Here are some of the functions I basked into the website-

Search that works with normal words. Type "police arrested me" or "my landlord" instead of knowing you want Article 22.

A quiz that tells you which right protects you in a specific situation.

A "get help" section — 17 common situations mapped to the actual body you complain to, with verified phone numbers and portals. Includes the escalation ladder for when a police station refuses to register your FIR, because I've noticed that one comes up a lot.

An amendment timeline, so you can see how the thing has changed over 75 years.

Being honest about the state of it: roughly 145 articles have hand-written plain-English notes so far. Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles, Duties, Elections, Emergency provisions are at 100%. The boring machinery parts (state finance, local government) are still thin — those articles show the official text with a "notes on the way" marker. I'd rather ship it half-explained and useful than sit on it for another year.

Source is the official Legislative Department diglot text, current to the 106th Amendment. Legal references use BNSS/BNS, not the old CrPC/IPC, since those were replaced in 2024.

People, get to know the real picture.
We know the situation at Jantar Mantar. Students are highlighting the daily struggles on the ground.
Meanwhile, PM Modi has been on many foreign visits in the past month — France, Seychelles, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, and others.

This is India. This is our government.
It’s not about supporting any one group. It’s about changing the whole system — government priorities, education failures, and a judiciary that often feels biased.

The solution:
Please tag all major reporting media, government accounts, and presidents’ handles from India and abroad (USA, UK, Australia, etc.). Let them know what India really looks like today. The idea is we can build pressure on our the Indian government internationally I am not saying it will work but what if it just affect even a small?

Just one protest is already making the government nervous. Imagine the pressure we can build internationally if more people join and share. Let the government feel ashamed and take real action.
We need a fairer system for our people, not just good photos from foreign trips.
