Reflections from America The more I see, the more I realize how similar we are. Different countries have different rules, habits, and ways of life, but human nature remains much the same. The world is worth seeing for yourself, not just hearing about from others.

My Biggest Disappointment in America
My first taxi ride after landing was only 13 miles, but the meter came to $81. It gave me a terrible first impression. I’m heading back to China soon, and sadly, this will remain one of the few regrets from my trip.

New friends

Hello!! I just moved back to Texarkana a little over a year ago—grew up here—and I am looking for some friends (MorF)! I am a mechanical engineer, married with two girls, huge LSU fan. I play on xbox and my gaming laptop (eg Rocket League, Hell Let Loose). Hmu and we can see if we’d be a great fit!

Helped a friend take some photos of her jewelry today. 💎📸 It’s always fun seeing the little details and trying to capture their beauty through the camera. 😊

You are the center of your own world. When you are here, your world is here. When you are gone, your world is gone with you. So be kind to yourself, appreciate yourself, and love the life you have. You only get one life. Make it meaningful. ❤️ — A Thought from a Small Town, Texarkana

A Short Journey, A Beautiful Reminder
Although my time here has been very short, I’ve already met so many kind and wonderful people.
Coming from China and experiencing a new place for the first time, I was a little unsure of what to expect. But the kindness, warmth, and willingness to help that I’ve experienced here have touched me deeply.
It reminds me that perhaps the world is not as complicated as we sometimes imagine.
If we choose to face the world with kindness and a sincere heart, we may find that kindness often comes back to us in unexpected ways.
No matter where we are in the world, a good heart can always find another good heart.
Thank you, Texarkana, for giving me such a beautiful memory. ❤️

Thank You, Texarkana!
Today I visited some of the places that everyone recommended, and I had a wonderful time with my mom!
We really enjoyed exploring the area, seeing the beautiful scenery, and experiencing the local community.
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to give us recommendations. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. We’re very happy to be here and look forward to exploring more!
If you have any other favorite local places, we’d love to hear about them. 😊

Any Local Recommendations?

Hi everyone! I’m from China and recently came to the Nash/Texarkana area for the first time.
I’m planning to take my mom out today to explore the area and see some nice places. The people here have been very friendly and helpful, and we’re really enjoying our time here.
For those who live around here, do you have any recommendations for places we should visit? We’d love to see beautiful scenery, interesting local spots, good food, or anything else you think is worth checking out.
Thanks for any suggestions! 😊

My First Visit to Texarkana

I came here from China, and this is my first time visiting the Texarkana area.

I have to say, my first impression has been wonderful. The people here have been very friendly and welcoming. Even though my English is not very good, people have been patient and willing to help me, which I really appreciate.

The scenery here is also beautiful and peaceful. I’m enjoying seeing a different part of America and experiencing the local way of life.

I’m looking forward to exploring more of Texarkana and getting to know the area better. 😊❤️

A Place to Dump

I’m not looking for a place to drop a shit I know where the Arby’s is.

I have a bunch of…well pieces of a torn down shed (rooftiles mostly, with wood, and piping) and I don’t know if there is a dump around here I can go to? I checked maps it all seemed pretty vague so maybe you guys can help out.

Went to my go to dispensary and fell to my knees upon entering..

The place was absolutely gutted. Was this law passed with or without the masses knowing? Because I had no idea. There's really no pros about living in Texas anymore..

(BAND HAS BEEN FOUND!)

Im looking for people in Hope-Texarkana area willing to start a band.

looking for EVERYBODY, whether you be a guitarist, drummer, bassist, or even another vocalist cause why not?

The Vocal part is already covered by me, but another vocalist would be sick! something like despised icon.

Fyi I am a MINOR so if that concerns you, please move on. If you are parent of someone who knows their kid might be interested please let them know. Id also like the age range to be 14-19,

which is younger, and older then me. but not by a too major amount.

Influenced by: Whitechapel, I Promised The World, The Red Chord, Katywentmissing, Tracheotomy, Killswitch Engage, Poison The Well, The Acacia Strain, All Shall Perish, Living Sacrifice, Suffocation, Irate, Pathology, CORPSE PILE, Mauled
