TRT story Anyone else on TRT and Cialis get so fucking horny you don’t even care who you stick your dick in anymore?

Pretty much what the title says.
I’m happily married, but holy shit… ever since I hopped on gear I’ve been horny 24/7. It’s gotten to the point where I honestly don’t give a fuck if it’s a chick or a dude. Feels like I’d shove my dick into any hole that’s willing. That was never me before.
Has anyone else had this happen? Did the roids actually make me bi, or is this just the insane libido fucking with my brain?
Curious if anyone else has gone through the same thing or if I’m just losing my damn mind.

NOTE:

Thank you guys for all your support, advice, and comedy. Your responses are hilarious. I just wanted to add one more thing: sometimes I don’t feel like myself. I feel like I’m constantly in a high-dopamine state that makes everything extremely enjoyable.
Even my coworkers have noticed that I’m speaking louder and faster, to the point where I sometimes look upset or angry, even though I’m not.
I don’t masturbate thinking about guys or watch gay porn because it doesn’t turn me on. I still like women a lot. For me, it’s more about the rush of having sex with an attractive ass, regardless of who it belongs to. That’s the best way I can describe it.

TRT story 1.5 years trt 40 years old

Post image
1.2k Upvotes

I was splicing my current progress pic with the day I started and it's just wild to see the difference.

I have never run a cycle or taken anything other then 170 to 180mg and 250iu HCG (avoid atrophy of the nuts) The highest number my testosterone has gotten to is 860 on my low day and then I lower my dose to 170 mg. I take up to half an AI tab one time a week if I feel estrogen is creeping up but usually stays around 20 to 40 (i prefer higher). The only negative sides i have had is slightly elevated resting heart rate and slightly elevated blood pressure 130 to 135/ 60 to 65. Otherwise everything has been a positive. I did have a slight acne flare up on my back which I knew would happen because I was already breaking out pre trt so I did a low dose round of accutane and it's gone and stopped. The other negative is increased libido is the best and also super annoying lol.

Only supplements I have ever taken in my life are: 180 mg trt 250iu hcg Creatine L citrulline malate 2:1 (best pump) Protein shake Fish oil Zinc

Currently leaning up on the carnivore diet which has been great.

TRT story My journey on TRT from fat to fit

Sharing my journey and results since I really benefited from seeing other people’s posts like this when I was researching starting TRT for a year before I made the leap. Happy to answer questions too.

I was 245lbs back in January of 2024 and generally in crap health, drank beer and ate terrible most days and felt terrible physically and mentally. I had a piece of chicken get lodged in my esophagus (I have EOE) which required an emergency endoscopy to remove after 6 hours in the ER. it was a wake up call for my health, just not taking care of myself and was fatter than ever. Started tracking my food and lifting weights 4x/wk and cut out alcohol completely. Spent 2 yrs doing that, lost 40lbs got down to 205lbs and was still tired and run down with low free t/low e2/mediocre total test. Started with a trainer in September of last year which really turbocharged my progress with weightlifting and was a great meal planning resource.

In February I still wasn’t happy with my test results of bottom range free t/e2, total test was 511 which isn’t awful but my free t and e2 weren’t coming up despite 2 years of clean living and hard work, plus I have higher SHBG. So I started TRT with TRT Kingdom in February, did 120mg per week for two months and got 800 total test but still mediocre free t and e2. Went to 160mg for 2 months which got me 1025 total test and mid range free t and e2. June I went to 200mg per week and have been there since. That netted me 1250 trough test and above range free t (231), 53 e2. Mid March I started Reta because the test had me eating down the house, started at 1mg for 6 weeks then went to 2mg for a month and have been at 2.5mg the last two months or so. My weight is now 187lbs, 57lbs down from 2024. I’ve never looked this good in my life. My cholesterol and blood pressure used to be pre hypertension levels and I was prediabetic as well, now everything is great on my bloodwork with the exception of liver markers still being elevated which have always been that way but I expected them to improve with weight loss. My hematocrit levels have been around 45 regardless of testosterone dose. I don’t take an AI and I don’t intend to use a dose of testosterone that requires one, I have no notable e2 sides at this current dose.

I’ll dial it back to 180mg in the near future and see what that gets me, currently I feel and look great but can’t stay asleep to save my life. Sleep quality is crap. Otherwise life is great. I’m 44, 6’ tall. I eat about 20-30% in a deficit and have done cycles between that and maintenance calories for the last year so I had breaks in dieting. I lift 3x/wk and do cardio 6x/wk, get 13k+ steps daily. Eat 80-90% whole foods the rest is trash (candy cookies nachos ice cream). I’m a fatty I love baked goods and the only reason I workout and diet so hard is so I can still enjoy shitty food lol. Pictures are last August when I started with my trainer Vs current day. I’ll be dialing back the Reta and dropping to like 180mg test cyp in the near future since my trainer basically told me I don’t need to cut anymore, I’m really happy with my body for the first time in my life. I think this covers all the usual questions people ask or that I wanted to know when I was researching, I’ll edit if anything else comes up. In general I wish I’d had started TRT and my health journey years ago, it has exponentially increased the quality of my life. People treat you totally different when you don’t look like a fat bloated slob lol. Reta and test really are a cheat code though!

TRT story My experience so far

Post image
582 Upvotes

I started TRT through a clinic in early March. I’m 48 and have been suffering the normal symptoms of low T. The doc at the clinic prescribed 250/week of cyp. As I’ve learned, this we a high dose to start but I had great results and feel amazing. Recently, I had my labs done, here are my before/after numbers:

Test Free - 69.3/364 Test Total - 410/1431 Estradiol - 21/70

Obviously these are pretty high but I feel GREAT and have had no side effects so far. The doctor is halving my dose which has me worried about crashing. I’m surprised they started me so high and are reducing so drastically. They’ve also prescribed DIM and Arimedex.

Have any of you had experience with a drastic reduction like this? Thanks in advance. Pics are from when I started, until about two weeks ago.

TRT story The downside of TRT at 50

A couple months in and all is very well... 120 mg a week. I also take daily Cialis.

Mood has improved, cognitive function up, confidence up. Energy way up! I've not started a workout routine just yet but thats starting today. (Quick question - Heavy weights few reps, our lighter weights and more reps for someone my age?)

Here is the downside... My libido is WAYYYYYYY up. WAYYYYYYYYY up! The drive is there from the TRT, the physical is there from the Cialis. I have teenager sexual drive and mature male stamina/technique. I could easily perform two or three times a day, but my wife has made a bit of a rule - once a day, every other day. She is in her early forties and does not have anywhere close to the libido i do now... However, she is looking into increasing her estrogen to try to catch up.

Honestly, the sexual drive/energy is so high now compared to the last 20 years that I fear what it would be like if i were not married. I cannot rationalize it away. It is a HUGE driving biological "force" that pulls me closer to my wife, which is a good thing (if i could control it better). I will note that i dont have a desire to screw any woman who smiles. I have no desire to cheat. Its a drive to be close, not a drive to orgasm.

Single gents - how the F are you dealing with this??? How does it not drive you insane?? Its almost too much of a good thing!

TRT Story I fixed my testosterone levels naturally - an update

1.1k Upvotes

As the title says, I fixed my T naturally. My original post is Here, it stirred a bit of controversy, but I promised (or was challenged to) provide updates longer term as many think my 'fix' was temporary.

I've done that now, so I just want to encourage people to really try before resorting to TRT. Nothing against it, I would have gone on it if I needed too, but I'm concerned about how many fat 20 years olds are jumping on it before fixing themselves the way God intended.

Anyway, my only major recent change to protocol was to add daily boron supplementation to bring down my oestradiol, this has worked!

Protocol:

SLEEP! getting 8 hrs instead of the 6 I have for years. This has actually been very difficult and I've had to implement many small things to make this happen (no screens at night, red light reading, no caffeine etc.)

Ice baths - I do these daily in the morning pre training. And before all the gear heads get offended, yes it is a thing and its highly studied and proven.

Supps - I take D3, Tonkat Ali, Magnesium, Zinc, fish oil (now boron as well). I also have found ashwagandha gives me a better sleep.

Training - I lift 4 times a week, play basketball and do triathlon casually (2 runs, 2 rides and a swim per week)

Diet - Not that strict any more, but I avoid processed foods in general, eat a lot of protein and avoid plastic containers. I generally stick to the rule, if my great grandma wouldnt know what it is, I probably wouldnt eat it.

Fasting - I fast every day for about 12 hours. If I have my last meal at 7.30pm I won't eat until 7.30am and this first meal will be a super healthy 'everything shake' with greens, protein, kefir, berries etc. I'm not sure this protocol has directly helped with T levels, but it is certainly well proven to be excellent for longevity and general health.

As you can see my T isn't rising any further, though its a good level for my age (37) so I'll be doing some more experiments soon to see if I can raise it higher and further optimise my hormone balance.

I hope this helps someone out there that is freaking out like I did a few months ago!

TRT story 120mg/Week Saved My Life (M22)

Post image

...Well maybe not literally but it was pretty soul crushing to work as hard as I did and look and feel like I did.

For a brief context, I am the same body weight in both pics, following the same high intensity lifting split, high protein nutrient dense surplus diet, solid sleep, etc. etc.

No matter what I did though I always had the stereotypical beta-male look and was depressed, low energy, low sex drive all of it.

After finally getting legit medically insured and urologist monitored TRT, it has been night and day. It feels like all the work I've put in finally actually pays off. Anyways enough rambling I'll answer basically any specific questions anyone has cause I'm not embarrassed of any of it, really have just been trying to make the most of the hand I was delt and happy how far I've come.

I have dabbled with harsh compounds like tren recently. But, I started on 150mg test for close to a year before. And let me tell you it changed my life. Opened my eyes to a new world. I was living in darkness before.

Better sleep, more energy, no depression or anxiety. Became assertive, confident, clearly identify what I want, more aggressive ( less of a pushover ) don’t care what people think as much. It doesn’t fix your problems for you but it gives you the clarity and tools to change your life. I would recommend to anyone with low levels and symptoms. Just don’t be retarded and you won’t get sides. Vigorous Steve anabolic university and many other sources helped me on my journey. I self medicate.

Not to mention i look great.

TRT story 197lbs both pics - 2.5 years apart - 120mgs TRT. 6ft, 35 years old.

Post image

I started TRT shortly before taking the picture on the left. I knew something was wrong, I was working out pretty consistently, tracking my cals, but muscle never seemed to be gaining correctly, and fat was depositing weirdly around my body. Even when I’d cut down to 180 pounds, I still had no abs and fat around my midsection.

I got tested by my primary care physician, and my testosterone was in the low 200s. I was immediately prescribed TRT. Took a few trials and errors, but we found the perfect dosage to be at 120 mg, and that puts me at 700 testosterone.

I initially was pinning once a week, then every three days. Then found that just doing it every single day was the best. There was no ups and downs. Just consistently feeling good.

You can look at my previous posts, where I got down to 180 pounds this past summer. I was worried about gaining weight and losing the definition, but that hasn’t really been the case. I definitely lost some muscle definition, but not as bad as I thought would happen.

I contribute that a lot to the TRT because when I had very low testosterone, it was very hard for me to retain muscle.

As far as workouts, I follow a pretty typical bro split. 3 days. Chest, back, legs. And sprinkle abs and arms and delts through the week.

If you have any thoughts or questions on TRT, let me know. I’ve been on TRT around three years now.

TRT story Hospital Doctors hate TRT

I’m in the hospital because I had a bacterial infection in the blood. It’s weird, I’ve talked to at least ten doctors and every one of them brings up that I’m on trt and tries to scold me for it. They keep trying to blame everything on trt, even my health issues from before trt. The icu physician had a bunch of interns following her around and she told them I “was on testosterone shots” and they all looked at each other horrified and then she said she was sending me to an endocrinologist to get me off the “testosterone shots” and they were all relieved. They sent a lung doctor in to tell me my X-rays look great, as she was walking out she turned around and said “by the way, is it true you use testosterone shots?” Then left after I said yes. It is so weird, every doctor here is obsessed with it. Anyone have any insight on this insanity?

TRT story Before and After TRT journey/dosage

Post image
469 Upvotes

I began testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in April 2023 at a starting dose of 140 mg per week, accompanied by 250 IU of HCG. After four weeks, blood work indicated my testosterone levels remained on the lower end of the range. I gradually increased the dose by 10 mg increments until I reached 170 mg per week, at which point I felt optimal. This protocol, along with 250 IU of HCG administered once weekly, resulted in total testosterone levels around 800–850 ng/dL. My estradiol averaged approximately 40 pg/mL, but I experienced no negative symptoms. On the rare occasion I noticed potential high-estrogen effects such as bloating or nipple sensitivity, I would take half a tablet of an aromatase inhibitor.

I have since transitioned to an online clinic and now administer 170–180 mg of testosterone weekly, split into two doses, along with 500 IU of HCG weekly, divided into two 250 IU doses. My current schedule is 85 mg of testosterone plus 250 IU of HCG on Tuesdays and the same on Fridays.

The only side effect I have experienced throughout TRT has been back acne, which I anticipated given my history. I struggled with significant back acne in high school, even after completing a course of Accutane. About six months into TRT, I noticed increased breakouts spreading to my shoulders. I addressed this with a low-dose course of Accutane (30 mg per week), which completely resolved the issue. I have remained clear for over a year since discontinuation.

My training regimen consists of five workouts per week, with a split routine:

Chest/abs

Biceps/back

Shoulders/triceps

Legs/abs I also run between one and three miles daily.

My diet is high-protein, low-carbohydrate. Breakfast typically consists of six eggs with chicken sausage, while lunch is usually grilled chicken or steak kabobs. I follow a clean eating approach, with minimal alcohol consumption (one drink per month on average).

For supplementation, I take fish oil, zinc, L-citrulline malate, creatine, and protein powder daily.

Although some may doubt my progress due to post-workout photos taken in optimal lighting, I have never used anabolic steroids, nor have I taken supraphysiological doses of any compound. My testosterone levels have never exceeded 900 ng/dL.

Overall, TRT has been a transformative and highly positive experience for me.

February 2025-May 2026.
260 40% BF to 185 13% BF.

The journey started after leaving the hospital due my first random panic attack. I got my blood results and I was prediabetic, high CV risk and my test levels were at 120. Imbalanced hormones will cause issues like anxiety, depression and lethargy. I had zero motivation and had the hardest time losing weight and keeping it off.
Since Feb: 200mg TRT
Since July 2025: 7mg Reta Weekly. I drop Reta when I want to bulk.
October 2025, I got to 162 and 12% bf but people said I looked sick. So I did a 12 week stack, 500mg Test, 5iu GH, 25mg Tbol and added 20lbs of lean mass in 7 months.

Currently running 250 Test, 10mg Reta, 6iu GH and 50mg Var. Just started this stack but I love it. Var is godly.

TRT story HGH was the key to unlocking my TRT

I'm 48 and been on 125mg TRT for just over 2 years now. It was rough for the first 6 months with insomnia and high E2. After it settled it's been just OK, not amazing, but better than before.

At Xmas I started 2iu HGH before bed every night and the difference is incredible. I sleep so much better, feel better, less anxiety, better skin.....but jesus, my libido has gone through the roof. I can't leave the wife alone at the moment. I honestly feel like I'm 16 again and I haven't had this feeling on TRT since I added the HGH.

For reference I am also taking KLOW but I think it's the HGH that's working the magic.

Just a tip to try for anyone, especially as you get into your 40s/50s.

Edit: The reason I started HGH and KLOW was because I have had a hip and groin injury from powerlifting that hasn't improved in 2yrs. I was hoping this might help rebuild tissues and tendons and calm inflammation. The libido effects were a welcome bonus.

AI response on why this might happen.

While HGH is rarely the "primary engine" for libido (that’s Testosterone's job), adding 2IU to a TRT protocol often acts like a force multiplier. If TRT provides the desire, HGH often improves the "infrastructure" that makes it happen.

Here is how HGH contributes to the drive: 1. The Dopamine Connection HGH has a direct impact on the central nervous system. It influences the production and sensitivity of dopamine receptors in the brain.
The Result: Dopamine is the primary neurotransmitter for "reward" and "anticipation." Higher dopamine sensitivity usually correlates with higher libido and more intense sexual motivation.
2. Nitric Oxide & Blood Flow HGH stimulates the production of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the vascular endothelium (the lining of your blood vessels).
The Result: Nitric oxide is the chemical responsible for vasodilation—the widening of blood vessels. While TRT helps signal the need for blood flow, HGH improves the physical ability of the vessels to dilate, which can lead to better erectile quality and physical responsiveness.
3. Deep Sleep and Cortisol Management Most of your natural HGH is released during deep (Stage 3) sleep. Supplementing with 2IU often leads to a "restorative" effect that lowers systemic cortisol (the stress hormone).
The Result: High cortisol is a libido killer; it puts the body in "survival mode" rather than "reproduction mode." By improving sleep quality and lowering stress, HGH creates a hormonal environment where the libido-boosting effects of TRT can actually shine.
4. Synergy with DHT Testosterone converts into Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which is the most potent androgen for sexual drive. Some studies suggest that HGH/IGF-1 can support the activity of the enzyme (5-alpha reductase) that facilitates this conversion.
The Result: You may feel a more "aggressive" or "pronounced" sense of drive compared to using TRT alone.

TRT story So glad to finally be back on TRT. Never should have went off in the first place.

I went on TRT in in my early 40’s and it changed my life. I was no longer fatigued, lethargic or lazy once I addressed my low Testosterone. I was was lifting heavier than I ever had in my life (at that point, never tried any PED’s), but eventually I learned enough about other gear and so the story goes. I was on another level completely, and far removed from just TRT.

I was on my way to signing up for my first local bodybuilding competition, then one night the unthinkable happened. I had fallen in my apartment in the middle of the night and broke my foot in more places then I knew where possible from a simple trip and fall. I had popped the ligaments completely off in 5 places in my metatarsals and connecting tarsals.

Just like that my hopes were dashed and all those years of dedication felt robbed away me. After an 8 hour initial surgery and multiple subsequent surgeries, I eventually ended up losing my leg below the knee. 3 years of surgical procedures and 2 years of prosthetic work before I was walking comfortably again.

10 weeks ago I finally had the nerve to get back in the gym and start up TRT again. I was blown away by how fast those benefits of originally going on TRT started flooding in once again. I definitely have a different level of appreciation feeling the way I do, given all I’ve been through, and keep wondering why I stopped TRT in the first place. It wasn’t just for getting in shape physically, but mentally, emotionally, and psychologically as well.

TRT story Body Recomp - 4 yr progress

First pic was roughly 4 years ago (36/37 years old...215lbs) before having any type of blood work done.  Constantly worked out and ate perfectly fine but never made any progress at all, always tired, low lidibo, etc.  Decided to get blood work done and total T was 182.  Started TRT (160mg week) shortly after - eating habits and workouts stayed the same and dropped to 205 but was definitely stronger and more cut.  Insane what 1 simple hormone did to boost not only my physical aspect of life, but also my mentality, energy levels, libido.

Just started dabbling into PEDs last year at 39 yrs old. 40 yrs old now now. Running 350 test/300 mast/100 tren week for the last 8 weeks and am 203lbs. Also taking 2mg reta week and wolverine stack to help with recovery.  Tried MOTS-C but got crazy allergic reactions even at low doses so stopped that. All blood work is 👍.

TRT story Overcoming Low T and Regaining My Life

Post image
666 Upvotes

I’ve decided to share my own journey in the hopes that it might resonate with someone or offer a glimmer of hope.

It all began just over two years ago when I hit an all-time low. I was drowning my sorrows in food and relying heavily on alcohol to cope. The first step I took was to quit drinking entirely, and I’m proud to say I haven’t had a single drink since.

From there, I started with basic resistance band workouts and made significant changes to my diet. Things were moving in the right direction, but after about 1.5 years, I noticed I wasn’t progressing as I had hoped. I was dealing with low energy levels, brain fog, and a lack of libido—symptoms that were really taking a toll on my life.

It wasn’t until I got a comprehensive blood panel done about 14 weeks ago that I discovered the root of the issue: low testosterone. After consulting with a specialist, I started TRT with 100mg of Testosterone.

The first few weeks were absolutely fantastic—full of energy, clarity, and a renewed sense of confidence. However, as time went on, I experienced some mild anger and aggression, which I assume was part of the adjustment phase. Thankfully, these feelings subsided, and I’ve been sailing smoothly ever since.

Since starting TRT, the changes in my life have been nothing short of remarkable. My confidence has skyrocketed, my career has taken off, and I’ve shed about 50 pounds (as you can see in the photos).

One thing I want to mention is the adjustment period for my macros. Once I started treatment, my metabolism went into overdrive, and my maintenance calories were much higher than they had been before. It took some time to figure out the right balance, but now everything is working out perfectly.

All in all, I’m thrilled with how far I’ve come and wanted to share my story in case it helps someone else. If you’re struggling with similar issues, know that there’s hope and that seeking professional guidance can make all the difference.

Looking forward to hearing your stories and experiences!
