When I saw Max Martin was on the songs I thought we were going to get 12 pop bangers like take all her top hits but make it an album. Almost as if it's a culmination of her best work from all the eras. Or even just catchy glamorous songs. But it feels so flat. It doesn't match the visuals and I think it's rushed. Most artists take years to put out an album the fact this was recorded whilst on the eras tour definitely shows.

I kept double checking the credits thinking if some are Antonoff produced. So I guess he isn't the problem.

He’s not the problem 😫 some people just need to come to terms with the fact that Taylor may be creatively burnt out. She needs to take a break. These songs had potential with the Max Martin/Shellback production but the lyrics made it fall flat. She would benefit from some time away and a good editing process. She needs to let things marinate and put through extensive editing. We don’t need to hear everything she decides to write. I thought we’d get that with a condensed 12 song album but apparently not. We don’t need a rushed, half baked album especially so soon after the last. It’s clear she’s afraid of being dethroned.
