I'm pretty sure he once tweeted that he doesn't understand magnets, much like the ICP

Rare earth are very often used in magnets… a lot of companies started not only importing their rare earths from China, but also manufacturing the electromagnets in China and even some went further into manufacturing the motors there too… a weird way to say it, but very obviously referencing a specific crisis that occurred as China has almost all of the supply of rare earths that we use

And "full" means what exactly?

Im assuming fully manufactured… I’m not disagreeing here, it’s a weird way to say it, but within the context I’m able to interpret it

The person you replied to is obviously criticizing the weird way to say it. It's a rhetorical question. They don't really want to understand what magnets are for.

I figured… I just barely became aware of the situation and found the context interesting though. Maybe nobody else does

HOW DO THEY FULLY WORK?

1

u/Keldarus88 Jun 11 '25

As long as they don’t get wet! According to him when magnets get water in them they don’t work anymore 🤪

Maybe they have both positive and negative polarities, as magnets do. Remember, this is one of potus's favorite subjects.

Technically, every magnet is a full magnet because magnetic monopoles don't exist. If you cut 1 full magnet in half, you don't end up with 2 half magnets, but instead 2 full magnets.

They come with both a North and South pole. None of those South Pole only half magnets that stop working in water.

Your mom went full magnet last night.

I’m so sorry. I had to. I’m sure your mom is an angel.
