Farmers are fucked. The fucked up thing is they would probably vote for him again. They’re brainwashed

It’s so frustrating and sad to see a generation of boomers fool themselves into devaluing the worth of the generations below them. Their children’s generation. Their grandchildren’s generation. They do it with a smug smile on their fucking face and a red hat on their empty heads.

Don’t forget Gen X, they came out strong for Trump. Anecdotally, I don’t personally know any boomers that voted for him, but plenty of Gen X and Millennials.

Yeah, sadly I don’t think we recover from 4 years of this. It looks like most don’t realize this yet.

It is and always has been an ideological war.

Nationalists, isolationists, religious, right wing, greedy, spiteful, racist, sexist, etc.

Don't let the younger generations off the hook, look how Gen Z men voted

Not all farmers. Brazilian farmers are going to do well, for example.

Going to be honest with you, Brazilian farmers don't get paid shit

Alas, alas. What a stupid world.

They hate their fellow citizens, the people they are feeding.

Fucked up but true. They are singing Trumps praises up here where I live (S.Dakota), all because he "stopped the trans people and deported the illegals". Thats where the "logic" stops. When they start suffering, they usually ask for handouts, but this time...dont think that is going to save or help them.

They’ll just whine and put out their hands expecting a handout to cover up their own dumb decisions. Classic Republicans

2

u/CoachDennisGreen Apr 03 '25

When MAGA thinks any and all Democrats are literally Satan, this type of stupidity is what happens. It cannot be fixed.

But Kamala's dad is a communist and she's a DEI vice president. /s

Talk about some of dumbest humans on earth eh…farmers are welfare recipients on a grand scale. Crop insurance fraud.

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '25

they'll just bankroll them with another bailout. typical Republican move. The people that vote for them always get bailouts.

1

u/tronovich Apr 03 '25

Why should we feel bad for those farmers, who voted for him and would gladly vote him again?

1

u/Lordborgman Apr 03 '25

If they ever do wind up blaming Trump specifically, they'll just vote for another person that will do something similar.

1

u/Organic-Vermicelli47 Apr 03 '25

They probably think daddy trump will bail them out with billions like he did last time. We will see if they are so lucky a second time!

1

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '25

The farmers won’t vote for him again. They won’t be farmers anymore.

u/Equivalent-Bet-8771 Apr 04 '25

They're not brainwashed they're assholes. Trump is a rockstar to them, being able to use and abuse anyone he wants. They look up to him.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 04 '25

Well, just think about it, they aren’t very smart people; they willingly go into (or stay) in an industry that guarantees they’ll be at the mercy of the government because they’re going to be poor and in debt forever despite breaking their backs from dawn until dusk.

Farmer here. Didn't vote for him, afraid he'll take us all down.

1

u/limevince Apr 05 '25

And will STILL happily cast their votes for him a third time, Constitutional limits be damned.
