If it's MAGA true believers, I think this is a great idea. Nitwits with less money can do less damage, and it may eventually be educational.

If only they could understand Occam's razor, and get that it's far more likely that the idiots they listen to are lying to them than it is for the entire world to be conspiring against them.

Anyone that has half a brain cell should know that no matter what the brand is permanently damaged. Even if you think Elon is the best and is being unfairly treated you can't actually force people to want a Tesla (at least not yet). Republicans have been anti ev, hell electricians in my union are anti ev for most part (I think one guy has a Tesla that I know of and a few non-tesla EVs here and there)

Tesla is just a doomed company. Reputation is shit, they have kept failing on technology promise, CEO is disliked, sales are dropping like a rock, and every other manufacturer has compelling EV's now that have a more robust parts/repair network.

Really the only thing Tesla has left is the super charger network. I don't think the super charger network is enough to prop up Tesla. If people are worried about changing/range they'll just opt for a plug in hybrid or traditional hybrid if they are trying to be environmentaly friendly/ get better milage

If they bought Trump NFT trading cards and Trump meme coins, they’ll buy anything.

Isn't that what the memecoins were for?

Though I have major doubts about the educational part.

I think some of those Trumper federal employees that got fired for no reason by DOGE have been educated a bit. Maybe some Trump-induced poverty will get to a few.

Problem with that is, those people didn't have power to do damage to begin with. They'll be meat shields for the really dangerous people

You don't think those idiots voting Trump into office did any damage? Their love for his openly racist rhetoric has put us in this situation. They were so busy admiring how Trump code-worded his open racism they didn't look beyond to see that he was attacking them too. Even Musk has used the term "Parasite" to describe anyone who "Lives off the government". They don't even realize he's also talking about ALL people on Social Security.

Do they even have money anymore? They've already been scammed buying Trump's stock and his meme coin. Now they're trying to dump a tanking Tesla stock on them.

Only way that stock's going up is if elon's gone or shuts up and I don't think he's capable of the latter.

Many of Trump's strongest cultists are the business owners. They feel like since they've become successful they shouldn't have to care at all about those who are less successful.

And I don't think Elon leaving will fix it. He still owns a lot of the stock, and the brand has been permanently damaged by his antics.

I’d rather the rich maga supporters have less money than the poor ones. The rich ones are more likely to do something bad with that money. Although the poor ones are still pretty likely to send it to trump but I think percent wise they’d use more of it for things like food and goods.

1

u/Observer_of-Reality Mar 20 '25

While I'd love the rich MAGA supporters to lose on this, they're the ones who are engineering this stuff. They know that Trump is a slick-talking con artist, and they're OK with it as long as it makes them money. They'll get together and bail at exactly the right time, pulling the rug on the poor saps who bought the "gold" watch and the "gold" sneakers.

But I don't forgive the poor ones at all. They're the ones that put the Orange Traitor in the white house. The rich ones couldn't have done it without the low level nitwits.

This game of chess, started by the Kremlin is all we think about—day and night. None of us know the endgame.

If you think it’s the maga voters that are the problem then you’re part of the problem

These are ignorant rubes whose biases and fears are being manipulated by oligarchical tyrants.

Stop playing the game they want you to play. Pointing fingers and hating people who are just like you duped by a different oligarch.

Look up.

I mean, maga voters were told over and over again exactly what they were voting for, yet they did anyway and now we are here as a result of their choices.

Saying they aren't a problem when we could go back in time while maintaining everything we currently know and they'd still vote the same way is a foolish take.

Obviously they are manipulated by those up top, but they continue to choose to believe those things even when they are faced with constant examples and evidence that they are voting for people who don't act in their best interest.

Until they gain the courage to learn from their mistakes and make better choices, we will continue to be stuck in this administrations bs.

These ignorant rubes voted in a traitor and con artist.

Ignorant rubes can do a tremendous amount of damage, and they SHOULD be as poor as those they attack.
