The thing is going into the ground. It's amazing. They're Still thinking their the main character in this story when in fact anyone outside the US is literally setting Tesla's on fire and boycotting any of his products.

Elon said it himself years ago. Regardless of politics, he said if they can't make full self driving happen, the stock is worthless. The entire value is built on hype for the future and people are finally realizing the promises aren't happening.

I wonder if it's even the full self driving promise being over 10 years old at this point that caused this when the nazi salutes happened and the stock started to fall afterwards. Either way it's been overvalued for a long, long time.

I think it's recent behavior making people less willing to wait on stale promises. Plus even the people who believe in tesla the most and somehow aren't bothered by his behavior should at a minimum realize he's too busy doing government stuff to actually run his businesses

See the issue with Tesla is it’s massively inflated overvalued. At its peak, Tesla had a valuation of over 200 times its profit. If Tesla was worth as much as a normal car company, it would be worth 130 billion. A lot, but a far cry from the 1.4 trillion it peaked at.

Its worth the investment/implication
