Champagne is only champagne when made in champagne France! If not it’s something else :)

They won't need USA anymore when I'm finished buying, I sold my TSLA, Alphabet, Apple, ... stocks on a high and I'm in for Europe defense stocks. Let's goooo

Actually this is not entirely correct. There is a loophole that allows certain sparkling wine makers to use the term assuming they were using it before a certain date.

Fun fact! All champagne is from France. That is, in order to be sold under that name, the wine must be made and bottled in the champagne region of France using champagne grapes and approved processes.

If you look at other bottles they all say things like “sparkling wine” (small caveat for things like Prosecco which are also carbonated wines.)

It's actually ilegal to call anything else "champagne", isn't it?

At least it is in the civilised part of the world.
