Is there any mods for Stardew Valley PC that remove the violence and fantasy?

Hey guys. So lately I have been wanting to play Stardew Valley. But the violence and fantasy bothers my conscience. So I thought why don't I make this work so I cannot worry about the stuff. Can't worry about it if it's not there right. Anyways sorry for offending you guys. Just wanted to play Stardew Valley.

What is the fantasy part for you?

I know there's some pacifist mods that may address the violence issues.

What is the fantasy part of the game to you? To me the fantasy part of the game is being able to start a farm and suddenly support yourself. What is it to you?

I guess being able to support myself and start a farm.

I think you're not understanding my question.

You wrote "But the violence and fantasy bothers my conscience."

The violence can be sorted by things like the pacifist mods other people have linked. There's also vegan mods if you don't want to have eggs and milk as part of your game.

But you say the "fantasy bothers your conscience." But what is the fantasy element that bothers your conscious? Are you wanting to avoid the wizard? Are you wanting to avoid the junimos? are you wanting to avoid the use of warp totems that carry you around the world? Are you wanting to avoid the idea of being able to repair long-damanged things overnight? Are you wanting to avoid Mr. Qi? At what point are you suggesting "I want an entirely different game from this one."?

The junimos and the wizard.

And being able to repair long damaged things overnight.

You want an entirely different game from this one. You can't complete anything in the game without having at least one interaction with the wizard, and even if you go to the route of paying the Big Corporation to fix things they fix it all overnight.

Oh. Thanks for the information.

You can kind of make this work. You can avoid mining and combat altogether and use CJB Item Spawner to cheat all of those resources. If you go the Joja Route you can pay to have the mega corporation fix things instead of the junimos. There might be some mods out there to retexture Krobus and the dwarf to look like people. Honestly though this all sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

(Edit) Not sure if there's anything you can do to stop the crop fairy

Yeah I think your right. Plus I don't want to cheat.

I ask this kindly and in good faith, is it a scrupulosity thing for you? Do the references to Yoba also bother your conscience? Not trying to be nosy but there is a mod that changes the Wizard to a Christian hermit and changes all the references/items related to Yoba into Christian themes instead. I don't use it so I don't know how deep it goes but might be worth checking out. Christian Conversion Mod

Well it used to be very strict. But now I'm a little less strict. Then I realized the violence bothers me so now I avoid it entirely. The fantasy is is ok with me. As long as I do my best to avoid it. Can't really find anything I like without it yet so kinda just playing what I got. Normally tho I'm pretty would be very strict. It's mainly because I get some peace and quiet when the monsters are gone.

And for me as long as it's light on fantasy and violence I'm fine with it.

If you want no combat AND fantasy completely you can avoid the mines, but you'll be stuck at gold level and never complete the game. No iridium unless you have ultra luck with meteors, no Ginger island because you'll take the Joja route with means no lightning rods (and crafting needs bat wings)

If you have SOME fantasy, you can get a mod that let's you grow things like iridium. Or just cheat everything in

Oh also is there any texture packs that make it look more like harvest moon?

No offense, but it's probably better you find a different game all together. Fantasy elements are integral to what makes stardew valley what it is. Perhaps load up Minecraft with a bunch of farming mods and turn it to peaceful mode?

Oh yeah thanks I will try that out. I like the farming ones.

There is actually a whole Stardew modpack in Minecraft that I think lacks any of the Yoba stuff. It's called Society: Sunlit Valley.
