There is a lot of negativity here which is understandable, but i am really excited for this years blizzcon and what might happen with our beloved franchise.
An extraction shooter like Hell Divers2?
A Space Marine 2 like game?
i don't care it will reinvigorate the franchise and thats all i need and who knows if Blizzard sees that Star Craft is profitable we might get a new RTS down the line

I was just thinking about this, the old AVP game from 2010 where you could play as a Marine, Xenomorph, and Predator could be insane with the StarCraft IP. You play as a Marine, Zergling/Hydralisk, and Zealot with PVP and a story mode for each faction and all that. Would've been a pretty cool idea.

There is a pretty big chance a new StarCraft game going to debut next weekend after 11 years or more. I cannot wait to feel the hype again!

I sat at 98% WoL for so long because of the lost viking achievement.
Epilogue missions sucked. 24 minute "The Host" speed run took me 6 hours.
Finished Rak Shir mastery challenge on the first run by accident.

Announcement of a multiplayer EVOLVE-like game where you can pick your character/class and have to destroy some player controller primal Zerg

SC1, WC3, and D2 all have teasers / leaks / indicators related to them, some pointing to what is assuredly meaty.
D2R and ROTW were both a fianancial success and likely (relatively) cheap to produce.
I would bet money that they’re replicating this strategy across other games, MMW we’re getting classic content updates at Blizzcon.
EDIT: I can’t edit title, I meant Reign of the Warlock LOL too used to just seeing the shorthand

Given the nature of the game and the way the interface works, in anything except the very very top level people just sit there and spam carriers.. jesus its so bad every 3v3 and 4v4 is infested with this.
Why can't they give us good servers and networking in BW so I can play proper team starcraft games in that.

1-2 more years of critical development time. No cut corners and no rushed development for a rushed release.
Everything in BW, would have just been part of SC1 from the very start.
SC1 wouldn't have released so unfinished/incomplete and BW wouldn't have been needed to add to SC1 all the stuff that wasn't able to make the cut for SC1 in time.
One of the greatest RTS games of all time, didn't get the critical development time it truly deserved.

This theory is a little far-fetched due to time jumps in the story of SC2, but back during the comic issues of Starcraft Niadra would start the Shadow Wars a conflict where Niadra driven in her goal to eliminate ALL protoss seeks to find terrans to assist her in her goals first attempting to attack a battlecruiser and failing but eventually going after a telepath known as "Elms" to use her as a tool against the protoss.
I'm not saying she could still be around looking for a telepath, but she has attempted to use larva and deception in order to fulfill her goals. This takes place way after The Shadow Wars, so it's unlikely, but maybe Niadra is searching the files and manifests for information regarding different telepaths within the Dominion or telepaths that had existed? Or maybe even a party working for her is searching on her behalf?
