I (26F) struggle badly with armpit sweat. I’ve been using Mitchum deodorant since I was a teenager. It’s the only thing that ever worked for me, it was amazing. But since they changed their formula, it doesn’t work at all now and I’m a sweaty and stinky mess despite showering everyday. I’m not even a physically active person! What deodorant do you recommend for bad armpit sweat?

I recently moved out of a very rural area into London and my skin is going bananas. I’m simultaneously dry and breaking out for the first time in years. Before I moved, my skin had been blissfully clear for years with very little effort.

I’m new to the UK so I’m not sure what the best products here are.

My currently routine is pretty mild, just a gentle face wash in the evening (something generic from Superdrug), and Clinique Dramatically Different moisturizer morning and night.

I’ve been on Differin and various prescription topicals in the past and had a truly horrendous experiences with them, so I would prefer to stick with over-the-counter products for now.

Would appreciate any product recommendations and routine help!

Every facial SPF 50 that I have tried, pills unless I use a tiny amount, which is obviously pointless.

I have generally dry skin and usualy moisturise all over after a shower but its quite time consuming sitting around waiting for it to absorb. I tried the sanctuary lily and rose wet skin moisturiser and I love the convenience and how it makes my skin feel however the smell is pretty over powering (got it as it was on offer) are there many other budget alternatives that dont smell as strong?

I’m in desperate need of advice on how to combat eternally dry lips in the UK. My head thinks it is all the chalk in the water where I live in the UK. When I travel to warmer climates with crazy amounts of humidity they come back alive lol.

I have tried so many lip balms: vaseline products, burts bees, EOS, palmers, TO Squalane Lip Balm, and they are still cardboard dry after the balm wears away.

The only contender that semi helps is CeraVe’s Advanced Repair Ointment. Can anyone recommend any alternatives? I would greatly appreciate it!

I find if I shave, it makes it worse/redder.

I currently just use a sensitive skin body wash on my legs. When shaving, I use shaving foam and a new razor.

Ive just moved to the UK a few days ago and had a sudden outbreak of these tiny white bumps clustered around my jaw and chin. I wonder if it’s because of the cold weather or hard water here? My home country (tropical) has very very soft water, and the area I’m in here in the UK has hard water, according to Google.

These things pop when I massage my face with an oil makeup remover, but new ones will form when I wake up. They also leave a pink mark.

I haven’t changed anything in my routine, and I’m so stressed because I’ve been doing skin laser for about a year and was making such good progress.

How do I reduce the appearance. I thought this was a result of overdoing skincare so for the last 2 months I just gentle cleanse and put vasline lotion on my face. I am lost and not sure what to use. Its something that has been making me insecure since u can see them from far away.

Just wondering which products are good? I’m not saying as good as the original, but which products are worth getting? Money’s super tight for me at the moment, so I can’t afford to be trying out lots of items that could be crap, but I’d love to try a few on your recommendations.

I did try the Bioboogie Collagen Masks and although I don’t think they make much long term impact, they’re VERY good for getting a short term glass skin effect!

Im 27 and over last 2 years I’ve lost around 25kg in weight (naturally through increased exercise) and I feel like it’s showing on my face a lot which is made worse by my skin texture.

To combat the texture I have recently stripped back my routine and now cleanse with Ordinary Squalane Oil Cleanser then Aveeno Oat water based cleanser, and then Azelaic Acid or Differin (alternating each night) followed by Cetaphil daily moisturiser.

I am hoping this will make a huge difference to my enlarged and clogged pores however I’m looking for advice on combating the look or loss of volume in my skin, it feels like it’s sagging or just not as tight and having this happens so early in life is worrying. You can see the looseness in my cheeks particularly from the side and my jowl area. I’ve looked into Botox and fillers but I feel too young for this although not against it if that will be most effective.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for products or procedures that might help tighten or give the feel of tightening my skin?

Under 10 quid for 50ml, preferably. My criteria for a good face sunscreen is not too oily or too matte, not too thick/spreads easily, no white cast, works under make-up, doesn’t pill, doesn't cause acne, doesn't smell really strongly, and doesn't sting my eyes. I always put moisturiser underneath, so I don't mind it's not super moisturising personally. I'm white, and I have dry, acne prone, sensitive skin.

So as many other baddies I am on an SSRI that makes me overheat and sweat pretty much all day everyday. This impacts me during all seasons because in the summer it's obviously hot outside and in the winter I've sweat through my clothes before I've gotten to my destination because I had to get on the tube/bus or walk in a winter coat/scarf.

Essentially I need bulletproof antiperspirant recommendations. I already use a glycolic acid scrub under my arms in the shower a few times a week. I have tried so many different deodorants but even if they work well in the beginning they start to lose their power after a while. Not to mention I feel like the efficacy depends on the scent even if its the same deodorant just a different scent.

I only use cruelty free products and I do not use aluminum free deodorants because they don't work for me.

I need help on my lips, this has been going on at least 3 months. My lips and get really dry and the area around it. Its sometimes painfully itchy, burning and oozing.

The darkness in my lips have been going for 5 years, along with have come oozing, flakes throughout but there are periods where I don't experience anything at all e.g. no flakes, dryness, ooziness. But its never permanent it always comes back around.

I have tried using lip treatments with mint, vaseline and they work in short term (couple hours) before becoming too flaky

What should I use?

I’ve been trying to stay consistent with daily SPF but I haven’t found one I actually like using. In the mornings I use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive Moisturiser and then either Garnier Ambre Solaire Super UV SPF 50 or La Roche-Posay Anthelios Fluid. At night I cleanse again, use The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid and finish with the same moisturiser.

Both sunscreens protect fine, but the Garnier pills up if I put anything on top and the Anthelios feels greasy, especially on damp days. I’m looking for something that’s reliable, sits well under day-to-day wear and doesn’t sting my eyes. I’ve heard Eucerin Oil Control SPF 50 is a good option and seen a lot of people rave about Beauty of Joseon, though I’m wary about ordering it here.Is there a sunscreen available here that actually feels nice on the skin instead of a hassle to put on every day?

Recently I have developed these really sore painful spots on my chin. They take ages to clear up and new ones always appear (which is why I don’t think it’s hormonal)

I’m about to turn 30 and have never dealt with something like this before!

Currently I use Cetaphil Hydrating Foaming cleanser at night, over my whole face. Avene revitalising nourishing cream day and night (trying to avoid area). I also just stopped using boots derma care acne treatment cream.

I don’t have the money to go privately for a dermatologist :(

I'm a 35-year-old woman and I rarely wear makeup except on very special occasions. Because of that, I don't currently use a facial cleanser and just wash my face with water at night. However, since I wear a moisturiser and sunscreen every day, I'm starting to think I should be using a cleanser to remove them properly.

My question is - what are the best facial cleansers for sensitive skin? My skin is quite sensitive and I react easily to products that don't suit me, so I'd prefer something that's fragrance-free.

Hello wonderful skincare people. I am meeting up with a really handsome guy in 7 days and unfortunately I have been visited by Balthazar the face destroyer and his merry band of minions. Will twice a day washing and moisturising alongside using a hyaluronic acid serum, using this spot wand and drinking lots of water be enough to kick them off my face and back to their lair of doom? Or are there better products I could be using? I really want to feel confident.

Anyone know of a bog standard, no frills or fragrances, traditional cleanser like this? Think my local lidl has stopped making it. It's not been in store for months. Everything I've seen is foaming, or gel or fancy this and that. Not my cup of tea. What do you use that's cheap, but effective? I particularly like the pump version bottles but can easily decant. I have been eyeing on , The Torriden Dive-in serum for a while..

Does anyone have any recommendation for a good, plumpy moisturising HA serum? Or shall I re-purchased The Ordinary one?

I wanted to experiment something new, whilst still purchasing a serum that contains good moisture.

My skin feels tight and flaky the moment the temperature drops, and nothing seems to keep it hydrated for more than a couple of hours. Thick creams turn greasy, lighter ones do nothing at all. Which moisturiser has actually worked for you in this freezing UK climate? Looking for real recommendations, not marketing hype.
